Sad day today as Valkyrie 7 starts her journey to the west coast of France to become a tuna boat, final servicing in preparation for the 3 day transit from Hayling Island to Oléron.
Nice to be out fishing again. A big ground swell was running through this morning but it soon flattened off and the fishing was pretty good for the time of year.

The refit of our latest edition has begun, no going back now, when this was fitted back in 2002 all credit to the builder as it was a battle to get out .

Exciting news everyone, some of you may not have recognised the boat in our post yesterday🤔 yesterday was the maiden voyage of our new boat SKUA ( to be renamed Valkyrie 8 ) and she did not disappoint with plenty of fish caught it was a great start to her new career with Valkyrie charters. We are now the proud owners of three large catamarans,to come and fish off one of our fantastic boats call 07831878669
Another glorious day out on the water lots of rays landed today along with whiting, congers and hounds
It’s not just fishing we do here at Valkyrie charters, we also cover a wide range of commercial work. The last couple of weeks V6 has been out with L3 ASV supporting c-cat 3 and c-worker 5 on trials, training and demonstrations. Went out with glen and David and we caught more fish than we could of dreamed of perfect weather perfect skipper perfect
Well what amazing day fishing , broke my pb with my first ever conger at 15lb 2oz then smashed it again with a 33lb conger , chuffed is an understatement, cheers zac on Valkyrie for the help , a great day had by all
Was out with zac on Valkyrie 7 yesterday, fishing was tough but zac managed to find some fish for us, very enjoyable day out.

Had both boats Sunday 6th every one enjoyed the day a cod and buckets loads of whiting and pout on glens
And a nice Ray and bass and whiting and pout on zac top skippers
Had a we one trip on board with great bunch of guys and an we some kipper thank you all see you soon
Had a day out on the wrecks with Glenn on Wednesday, a fantastic day and great fishing for us all. You won't find a more helpful skipper!

Another great day with Glen and Zac.
He had a plan which mostly worked. Unfortunately we didn't get any congers, which was part of the plan, as we couldn't get through the cod to get at them.
Would have been a perfect day had Glen remembered the milk for the tea!

Always tries to put you on the fish, helps you, drinks coffee, tries to please, boat is clean leave it clean all in all proffesional!
You would have more luck on a pedal boat at canoe lake catching a fish than on that shit hole!!!!
