These left the shop this morning! 16 units in total. It was becoming quite snug in the workshop. Can’t wait to see them fitted up. Sash windows with 12mm slimlite glazing for a Property in a conservation area.

Been fitting up some bedroom furniture this week that we made in our workshop. • 6m!!! Run of sliding doors, drawers and wall cabinets around a TV. An island of 9 drawers. A dressing table area and a further 6 wardrobes! All in one bedroom with a sea view 😍 • Back next week to finish up. Oak veneer, farrow and ball sprayed door fronts and face frames with ebony Veneered worktops to finish.

Multi-point locks are going in today. • We use secure by design (SBD) multi-points as standard in all our doors so you can smile and know that your property will be nice and safe. • 😃

Before glue up we dry fit everything to make sure all the joints are perfect before assembly. • It's better to take a little longer in the preparation to achieve a premium end product. • Time and care is what we aim to share with our clients 😁

‪Draft proof heritage timber windows! That’s right! sash windows with no draft 💨❌😊 ‬ ‪•‬ ‪These grooves hold the draft excluders which compress against the box frame preventing any draft getting through!‬

A fair few sashes in various stages of preparation ready to be glazed and fully decorated. • We pride ourselves on getting these perfect before moving on to the next stage 👌🏼🥇

We’ve applied to join the British Woodworking Federation. • They don’t just let anyone join and we are sure there will be some things we need to improve on during our probation period as a member. But we are all about raising standards for our clients. #worthing #joinery

Windows in the spray booth. • All fully finished in @teknos.fi to comply with Accoya standards. • These will be fully finished, glazed and Ironmongery fitted before leaving the workshop to be fitted.

A small record player unit. • Made from laminating 3mm MDF with crown Oak veneer. Birch ply shelves, laminated black and edged with 2mm Oak. • Quite tricky, working from a brief description. Always over the moon though when the client says the words “that’s exactly what I wanted! Thank you very much”.

Triple box frame and sashes being fitted up before final clean up. • Complete Accoya window made for a property in a conservation area.

Accoya glazing bars, staff moulding and parting mouldings all planed and made here in our workshop. • 50 year guarantee on Accoya. You might as well make them right.

A pair of curved beads made from Accoya laminated together and carefully run through the spindle moulder. • These are for a fanlight above a door in a property in a conservation area in which we are matching all the existing doors and windows.

Sam has laminated Accoya together for strength. • Then using a template of the arch he wants to create in using it as a guide on the spindle moulder to cut the desired shape. • As you can see in the final photos this process is repeated several times to create both the frame and sash.... • Also adding a nice traditional moulding.
