Vinyl Head is a stage where poets and musicians express themselves and are heard. You are welcome to see and hear all the unique wonders that pass by this sandy stage and if you desire it, then make it yours, we will embrace you. Let's share fears and dreams, we all have them. Let's not let anyone or anything to stop us from sharing it in here or any other place. Life is also a stage, everyone is a poet. Love to you all. Thank you for reading Xxx

Went for lunch with my daughter yesterday. This is what I've posted on my wall today:-

This place is amazing. It's more like somebodys front room than a cafe, with large sofas, a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, album sleeves covering the walls, music playing on the deck on the counter, people lounging around chatting and smiling, and the cutest little house dog called Dash who kinda begs for food but also likes, and eagerly accepts, being petted and stroked instead. It's very hard not to feed him, but when the owner says PLEASE don't feed the dog, I guess you have to do what you are told (cough (:) ). He is frequently told by his owner to stay in his basket around the back, and obediently obeys, but somehow, hey presto, there he is sitting by your table again!. There's the most wonderful chef who can conjure up anything vegan your little heart requires, and will gladly stand and talk to you about anything you ask him. The toasted sandwiches were totally devine, full of veggies and wonderful herbs and pesto, surrounded by delicious spelt bread. I don't know if bohemian is the right word, but that's how I would describe it, bohemian. It's the sort of place I could imagine Leonard Cohen would have frequented, sitting talking to his cronies whilst writing his wonderful poetry. I will certainly be making it my 'local' from now on. We need more 'community hubs' like this! Jacqueline Hutton I am taking you there for lunch when you come down! And Jodie you are coming. Anybody else wants to take me to lunch, ask away. I will eagerly accept. LOL x

Visited for the first time today. Had a great time browsing the vinyl and actually had time to do it while relaxing and enjoying a coffee as there was a lovely space and toys for the kids to play. Vegan burrito was delicious.

Welcoming and friendly staff.

Looking forward to going again (hopefully there will be vegan cake next time, too).

Vinyl Head... if you still have a turntable and a Hi-Fi system dig out your records, play them and then realise this the best way to listen to music. Then fill out your record collection by popping into Vinyl Head Disco-Go to buy some more. You know you want to! Also, Vinyl Head are serving the best coffee, cakes and juices in the whole of Planet Thanet. Get down there now! You'll love it. Please share, share and share again. My name is Paul, Vinyl Head is my second home

Vinyl Head, in my humble opinion is the most welcoming, embracing and undoubtedly coolest places I have frequented in a long time! There are two decks on the counter playing everything from Van Morrison, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald to David Bowie and more. The coffee is made with love...you can meet people, chill out quietly or immerse yourself in the vinyl on sale, you will find something incredible. At the helm of this gem are Humberto and Antonia.. Lovely lovely people.xx

Vinyl Head is a very special cafe, so much more than a coffee shop. Humberto is such an amazing host, friendly, good humoured and kind. He cares about what he serves, good coffee, good cake and great music. A pleasure to visit, if every town had an Humberto and a Vinyl Head the world would be an even better place.

This magical place gives you so much, a sanctuary for beautiful souls, a shelter from a confusing and often wicked world, a warm place to be reminded of all the good there is whilst sipping on a damn fine coffee and equally splendid food. Love you all X

Lovely cafe, full of lovely people, what more could I want!

User

Love this place. Great place to chill, meet a eclectic mix of people, eat good food. Always looked after by the beautiful host Humberto and his lovely wife Antonia, who might I add makes the most scrumptious cakes and sweet delights. A must go too place in Ramsgate.

I came to the vinyl head yesterday and had salmon and eggs and a coffee was perfect very well cooked.

The venue itself is so different to anything ive ever seen, or been in it was quirky and had a very nice atmosphere, the people and staff was very nice, any one wanting aomething different this is the place highly recommended

User

Humberto has created an amazing space here - lots of lovely events, great vibe, coffee and food. A really special place in ramsgate😄

User

Had a really lovely time, and felt welcomed, will definitely go again, listened to some really interesting pieces of poetry, held on the first Friday of the month. Thank you.

User

Great place! Humberto is really friendly and his passion for music on vinyl is amazing. Come and have a dig and a coffee and you'll be there hours. Really nice cakes too!

User

Funky place in a great location (near to town and sea yet tucked away). Very friendly staff and a great menu (stopped for coffee but going back for breakfast/lunch soon).

User

Fabulous shop, the food and drink lovely. We stayed in Ramsgate whilst visiting the Soul Festival in Margate, gorgeous little gem on our doorstep, lovely patio area with plenty of seating, very relaxed special feeling, obviously created with love

User

Didn't stop for coffee (regrettably) but the record shop is one of the friendliest I've ever visited. A nicely curated selection of records from all genres, and enthusiastic staff willing to chat about all sorts of weird and wonderful music make it a must visit for vinyl lovers. I'll definitely be returning.

User

Brilliant place, cross between a record shop, cafe, community centre, pub and occasionally hairdressers! The most amazing cakes and coffee, super food and lovely company. I love it.

User

Been meaning to visit for ages, I shall be returning :-)

User

An amazing space, and my new favourite place to play. Outstanding vinyl collection, scrumptious food, and it sells draft beer. Heaven!

User

Always made to feel welcome, great host, great food, great gigs and a nice crowd with it.
