The perfectly British Seaside escape.

Thanet is lovely region to be. It has not only friendly people, but in the summertime it has beautiful beaches along the North Sea/ Channel side. It's also possible to go on walking through the countryside. You can take the Buss to where ever you want. You can also take the train to visit, for instance London.

Canterbury is also not far away, where you can go on shopping and go to the Museum. The Canterbury tales is nice to go to. In the Evening there a lot of Cosy Pubs and Restaurants to visit.

Margate has the best beaches in Thanet very clean sand and lots to do.. It has the best Margate Rock shop.. called Sunset-Rock-Shop with over 40 yes 40 different flavours of rock run by the lovely Teresa Marsh it's well worth a visit.

Love Thanet, amazing beaches a few good restaurants (Thai, surin ramsgate is the best!!) and some nice seaside bars.

It's one of the most understated seaside resorts! I love it.... The natural beauty of each bay is breathtaking... take a step off that treadmill and enjoy everything that Thanet has to offer.... you'll be forever glad you did...and you'll probably want to move here as I did.

Friendly, well informed and genuinely enthusiastic about everything the area has to offer. Thanks guys!
