Volunteering Northumberland is currently updating our website with lots of resources on volunteering. If you are a volunteer we would love to learn about your volunteering experience. So why not share your story and inspire others with your success? Simply post details of your story onto our facebook wall.

If any volunteer involving organisation has planned or is planning activites for Volunteers Week 2013 (1st-7th June) please let us know and we will promote it for you!

Are you interested in volunteering in Berwick? Why not volunteer as a Family Service Volunteer. Volunteers are matched with a family needing the patience and help of an emotional mature adult. The volunteer would be required to make regular visits of between 3 to 6 hours per week for up to 9 months.

Make a Difference Event. Berwick CAB and Volunteering Northumberland are holding an event on Thursday 25 October between 10am and 12 noon in Berwick Voluntary Centre and is open to anyone interested in learning more about volunteering locally and the work of Berwick CAB in particular.

25 years have passed since Wansbeck CVS was set up by a visionary group of local people who were inspired to create an organisation which could support the local voluntary and community sector.
Celebrate this milestone with us at our Annual General Meeting on:
Wednesday 31st October, 11:00am to 2:00pm at Newbiggin Maritime Centre, Newbiggin by the Sea.

Volunteering Northumberland are holding a week's worth of training and activities for volunteers. The training includes:Introduction to Card Making, CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering, Basic First Aid and Creating Publicity Material using computers.
