Relive the cinematic magic of these classic films at Vue:

User

Booking online took a bit of time, but once done - picking up the tickets, popcorn and drinks was easy! It was busy but comfortable and we enjoyed the movie too!

User

You seriously need to review the lift situation...couldn't see the film that we had booked seats for on Wednesday. Staff were really good though, very apologetic and explain ed fully the problem. The manager was courteous and offered compensation. However Vue Customer Services was appalling..how dare we be disabled and unable to use the stairs......i have a suggestion!!!!! Dont put screens upstairs....problem solved

User

Not the greatest cinema but I've been worse... Ads were SERIOUSLY loud and i noticed people just kept getting up and walking in and out a lot which was irritating so not the greatest experience unfortunately.

User

I took my 2 year old granddaughter to see Bing yesterday. I was very surprised that the first sound was too loud for delicate toddler ears and my granddaughter and a number of other children were frightened and saying they wanted to go home. We then had to sit through 20 mins of unnecessary adverts, once again the toddlers were getting bored and wanted to know when Bing was going to start. The cinema surely knew Bing was for a toddler age range (18 months - 4 years old) and should have put on a more appropriate show, quieter and no adverts.

User

A good film and great that it’s open to little ones. Saw Peter Rabbit a few weeks back and there was no trailers and lower sound. Sherlock Gnomes today it was far too loud with a ridiculous amount of adverts for a child’s showing. Babies were crying at the sounds system. Please do something about this for child showings

User

Tried to attend to the cinema twice in the last few days and both times the lift was broken so I could not get up to the screens in my wheelchair. On bank holiday weekend I can't help but feel that the cinema was not prepared to pay an engineer to come out as that would have cost them more than usual. Really poor, Vue.

User

I went to see Peter Rabbit with my 5 y.o. son on Sunday 13 May to which he was so looking forward to. But when we got on our seats, ready for the show.. they started showing 18+ trailers, starting from Deadpool and continued onto Horror trailers. I was surprised to see this trailers and kept hoping they would end but my son was just terrified. It took me few minutes to react before I grabbed him and ran out with a tearful child to find out there was a computer error and it printed tickets with a wrong date and a wrong screen info. The staff were standing there not knowing what to do (call the manager? talk to the customer? calm down the child?). I, eventually, said we need to be taken to the right screen so the child gets to see the film even though we were already quite late to it. Not a nice experience, sorry

User

Generally I go to the Showcase but when I go to Vue I always get a VIP seat because the normal ones are so uncomfortable. It needs to update the seating in all of them. I was there on Tuesday to watch Star Wars and it was absolutely freezing, even the staff were trying to keep warm. It's absolutely ridiculous. You want people to come back and be comfortable.....well make it comfortable, improve the seating and turn off the bloody air con!

User

Worst cine ever.. we were there to watch a movie show and No Air Conditioning was turned on.. it was so so hot n humid inside. Complaining to manager didn’t help either.. he said nobody told me about that.. i mean is air conditioning not supposed to be turned on when a show is running !!! Manager didn’t even bother apologising... Disgusting !!!

User

Went to vue on 09/6/18 to jurassic world the Fallen Kingdom i took my nan as she's a big fan off the Jurassic franchise and me to but when we got there the lift was down so i & a member of staff breached health and safety and took her up on the escalators with the wheelchair also it a 12a rated movie & there's loads of 3,4,5 year olds in they're screaming as the adverts were way too loud and then got jumped through the movie i think with big Blockbusters movies like that there should be a kid screening of the movie so Die Hard fans can come straight and watch it and last i think the cinema should be shut from the customers if the lift is out of order so customers cannot get up stairs to watch the films that they come to pay for

User

Went to see Shape of water we had VIP seats, the side lights we're on the whole time, we complained but nothing was done. Tried to complain to the Manager she was immediately defensive and said that the lights were always left on for safety reasons which is funny I've never known them to be left on before. She refused to come and see what we were complaining about and then said we chose the wrong seats ?!? Showcase from now on..

User

Went to screen 9 yesterday morning for the 10.10 showing of mamma mia.. even though it was an excellent film I was disappointed and angry that when buying the tickets the staff did not inform us that the floor area was like a swimming pool, the seats were damp and it smelled like an overflow in a toilet!!!!

If you have a problem with the screen room you should inform people before buying the tickets.

User

Went to kids am today at reading vue, no one in there , my phone was on silent but I was texting on it not that it should make a difference , I’m fully pregnant at 37 weeks when a staff member came up behind me and scared the shit out of me ! Said get off my phone , now I have no problem with getting off my phone ! But do not ever sneak up behind someone !! 1 I have now been contracting ever since !! 2 she should have stood in front of me so I could see her before screeching !! 3, what if I had epilepsy? I’m so angry right now and the stress and pain this stupid woman caused was unnecessary, think before u sneak up on people !!

User

We were very excited to be able to catch one of the last showings of Star Wars yesterday morning but unfortunately spent the whole film shivering with cold!!! When I told staff I was simply informed thst “the heating is broken, sorry about that”. Given how much it costs to go to the cinema these days (it is now a special treat) I do not expect to be uncomfortable!! Given the size of the cinema and number of screens that there are there must have been something they could have done or at the very least informed people beforehand of the problem! Really disappointed!!

User

Vue Reading needs a serious update. Side lights never turned off so 3D sucked due to glare. Booked VIP seats and the floor was as sticky as an old nightclub. Queue to get food always huge as the ticket sales office is never open so people fussing about tickets. I would have booked the showcase if it wasn’t FULL, yep they were full and this is why. Rubbish.

User

Sorry to all the homies out there but I think vue is super. When all the ads are finished and the vue things come up makes me jump and laugh. But there are a few problems that you need to fix. First of all the standard seats are so uncomfortable and smelly. Second of all you say you will clean them straight after the movies and I come after another movie comes and it's dirty. Also when you are waiting it is so cold especially in winter. Definitley going to the cinema in Winnersh next time.

User

Poorly equipped for guests with mobility issues & staff are poorly trained to help in any way or to inform guests at the time of booking their tickets. Given the services available in other locations for guests with mobility issues, this is very disappointing from Vue.

User

It was too cold and the side lights are never turned off so it really ruins the experience when you have to use your coat as a blanket and everything is far too expensive considering the flaws!!! Not going vue again

User

I think this cinema is need of an upgrade!, it’s freezing cold whilst waiting to go in, machines work every now and again, seating is dirty and uncomfortable.....for how much you pay it’s definitely not worth it....sound was way too loud.....
