We welcomed Mick Brooks to the Waddecar office team on Monday.. He now joins Damian and Jo at their new 'gnome'... but can you guess who is who???

Looks like we have some extra campers on site this morning!

Another fantastic year of Summer Staff, with lots of memories and friendships made, plenty of jobs completed around site and lots of fun had doing it. With a commemorative gnome painted and the names of this years willing volunteers added as well.

Waddecar is Middle Earth.. Frodo is on his quest to Mount Doom with the One Ring.

This is a free activity bookable through the County Office or the weekend Wardens.

The semi-permanent Indian Tented Village.
Comprising of 6 tents sleeping 36 people over-all. Each tent has a solid floor and electric light.
The village includes a kitchen and a dining shelter ready to cater for 40 people.
... You'll have your own dedicated camp fire circle and the facility to book the Tipi.
There's plenty of space for additional tents and this site is located a short distance from the toilet block.

Visited here today, with a group of school children.

Lots of fun had by all. Jean showed us how to measure the water and water flow, find creatures beneath the water and the names of them.



We learnt a lot from this day, got quite wet, so extra clothing advisable and wellies need to be worn.



Plenty of outdoor space to eat/run around.



Definitely recommend 👍

Had lots of happy memories here. Some great competitions and plenty of fun with 3rd Cleveleys Cubs and Scouts.

Glad to see still going strong.

Great place, lots of activities to do. Brilliant toilet block.

Great campsite, loads of activities I love the new toilet block and bouldering room!

Fabulous site run by a great team. Can't wait to return in a few weeks with 12th Lytham St Annes scouts.

Excellent facility with great staff providing faulous opportunity to young people of all ages

Cracking place, fantastic staff and home of the best scouting museum ever.

Brilliant place, loads to do. Great staff. Top camping. Cubs love it.
