Me and my husband John went Friday 30th Sept for a night out in reading. It's a big place. 2 pound for lots of different drinks at 5 o clock to shutting time.music great. Then went upstairs to watch the rangers game. Really felt welcome. There was a guy playing a guitar.it was good. Definitely be back next time we go to reading

I love it they let my masked friend in and they are very kind to my needs;) 🍆😵

Head doorman was really polite and very good service , first time in reading going to come back again because the door staff made me feel like home �

Had the best night here last night! Matt served us and made the experience amazing, constantly putting the customer first. He even helped us by making a cocktail that wasn't on the menu but me and my friends craved (expresso martini) you guys should really make it a permanent cocktail as it's to die for. Thanks Matt ��

Great atmosphere for the Liverpool v Man City game. Left my husband their to watch the match while I shopped. The lager drinkers did complain about the pint prices but I was very happy with a large glass of lovely wine at £3.30 a glass xx

Well when me and friend got there we got told the doors will open at 7 and the show will start bout 8 so got some food thinking the time we had eaten it would of started anyway 9 came round and a man told us they were a bit behind in time so we got drinks and then we did a quiz then bt half 11 they put it on slammerslam it self was great the staff didnt seem to know what was going when or where we was ment to get a dvd bag when we arrive but never got it still waiting so was good nite but could of been organised better sorry for spelling

Why would you advertise an event if you're only going to show half of it, and never let us listen to it? We turned up for the State Of Origin, which you advertised as an event you were showing. It was shown on two small screens on each level only. It started many hours before the world cup England game started, but the staff wouldn't give us the audio of the game. It's not like it would have interfered with the soccer, the soccer hadn't started yet and you were only playing music. One set of screens upstairs is all we asked for audio on. But, instead of letting us listen, you turned it off completely just after the first half started. We asked to cancel our food order if you weren't showing the game you advertised, so the bar staff said they would put it back on - which they didn't. Wish I had cancelled the food order anyway. £5 for a roo burger which was disgusting - if you'd paid £2 for it from a kebab van you'd demand your money back.

Went to watch the mayweather mcgregor fight on the Saturday, payed £9 in advance for 5 people that = 45 quid they basically robbed off us, the dress code read that they understand reading festival was on and appropriate dress was requires and stated things that weren't appropriate dress and these were; wellies, caps, hats, hoodies and a few other things. My friend had jogging bottoms on as he had no other clean clothes and he wasn't allowed in, when we asked why calmly the bouncer told us that the dress code stated no joggers (whilst we had the dress code up showing him it didn't) he proceeded to shrug us off telling us there's no chance of us getting a refund and we should go away and told another bouncer to get us out of the way because apparently a bouncers weakness in reading is a polite conversation. The boss was also there and was incredibly rude, proceeded to let people in who had jogger shorts on that were similar to my friends in, we asked if he ripped or rolled his shorts up would he be allowed in then and she refused to give an answer and she also had a huge problem with polite conversation. At the end of the day we weren't repeat custom so they were happy robbing £45 from us and will treat most people the same. Terrible customer service and I for one wouldn't like to drink in a place that treats a customer like a piece of crap.

We went out on Friday night with some of our work colleges and my bf! When getting there everything was fine we got a drink and started to have a good time, after my bf went to the bar and got told to leave.

We came out the front and left and I said this is pathetic and Maria who is the boss was standing out the front she swore in my face and personally I don't think that is acceptable she was so rude!! Don't go there!!

So we wait an hour for our breakfast because someone thought having only 2 waiting staff working on probably the busiest morning was a good idea. Breakfast is luke warm and when we asked what was going on the bar staff looked at me like i was some kind of idiot and walked away without saying anything! Shocking service! But then again nothing changes in this place besides the decor

Nice place but when you order a premium beer for nearly a fiver you expect it to come in the correct glass and also the correct way to pour. IE the beer is supposed to have a slice of orange. It's not hard to buy oranges you get limes and lemons come on get it right

Never again!!! Rude...unhelpful....dont go there!!!!!

Loud distorted music. Why so loud if your sound system sucks?

Came to watch state of origin which was advertised on facebook. Game was turned off at half time and when we spoke to someone they promised to turn back on and didnt.

Will not visit again.

I have lost the ticket and I couldn’t get my coat back. It is my fault, I know. Thing is while I was asking politely the guard told me to leave and I couldn’t even explain that I left my jumper on the chair because he twisted my wrist and forced me to leave. It is definitely not the way the customer should be treated. I’m disappointed and won’t go there anymore.

During a night out at this venue my good friend and I were assaulted twice by the same girl, throughout the night. This was unprovoked as we were just out to enjoy ourselves. Both assaults were witnessed by the same memeber of security, however when we approached him about the discrepancy he did nothing, and he reacted by dancing with this girl. These assaults started with a push and and resulted with her punching myself in the face. If this issue had been dealt with at the start of the night accordingly, I would not have been punched. At the end of the night we approached the security team about our discrepancy. The security team did not take this seriously and laughed it off. The head of security, simply said that we should have told him, when obviously we were unaware of who was in charge. But we also expected a level of security to be upheld by all staff not just the head of security. Very dissatisfied!

Came for the karaoke night, DJAlex is possibly the worst karaoke DJI have ever seen, has about as much charisma as a wet flannel, ( checked with all 7 people I came with before posting that they agree )

Arrived to the McGregor fight wearing festival wear, this included some stylish sweatpants. I was under the illusion this would be fine due to the dress code specifying only no wellies or flip flops, and the fight was of course taking place during non-club hours. I was denied entry in an extremely rude fashion and completely dismissed by bouncers when having a completely normal conversation (I was completely sober). I was offered no opportunity of a refund and I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon after my interaction with the rude staff there.

Apparently asking what drinks deals you do means you have had enough!!! Rude bar staff ...

Both assaults were witnessed by the same memeber of security, however when we approached him about the discrepancy he did nothing, and he reacted by dancing with this girl. These assaults started with a push and and resulted with her punching myself in the face. If this issue had been dealt with at the start of the night accordingly, I would not have been punched. At the end of the night we approached the security team about our discrepancy. The security team did not take this seriously and laughed it off. The head of security, simply said that we should have told him, when obviously we were unaware of who was in charge. But we also expected a level of security to be upheld by all staff not just the head of security. Very dissatisfied!

Came for the karaoke night, DJAlex is possibly the worst karaoke DJI have ever seen, has about as much charisma as a wet flannel, ( checked with all 7 people I came with before posting that they agree )

Arrived to the McGregor fight wearing festival wear, this included some stylish sweatpants. I was under the illusion this would be fine due to the dress code specifying only no wellies or flip flops, and the fight was of course taking place during non-club hours. I was denied entry in an extremely rude fashion and completely dismissed by bouncers when having a completely normal conversation (I was completely sober). I was offered no opportunity of a refund and I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon after my interaction with the rude staff there.

Apparently asking what drinks deals you do means you have had enough!!! Rude bar staff ...

Me and my husband John went Friday 30th Sept for a night out in reading. It's a big place. 2 pound for lots of different drinks at 5 o clock to shutting time.music great. Then went upstairs to watch the rangers game. Really felt welcome. There was a guy playing a guitar.it was good. Definitely be back next time we go to reading

Had the best night here last night! Matt served us and made the experience amazing, constantly putting the customer first. He even helped us by making a cocktail that wasn't on the menu but me and my friends craved (expresso martini) you guys should really make it a permanent cocktail as it's to die for. Thanks Matt ��

Great atmosphere for the Liverpool v Man City game. Left my husband their to watch the match while I shopped. The lager drinkers did complain about the pint prices but I was very happy with a large glass of lovely wine at £3.30 a glass xx

Go there most Fridays and always have a laugh, all staff are so lovely and always in a cheerful mood. Nice atmosphere. NYE was the best had such a brilliant time�

Attended here on Friday night, was a great evening. The door staff was lovely and fair. The bar staff was quick. I will definitely attend this venue again (for the black guy outside) grumpy but cute.

Well when me and friend got there we got told the doors will open at 7 and the show will start bout 8 so got some food thinking the time we had eaten it would of started anyway 9 came round and a man told us they were a bit behind in time so we got drinks and then we did a quiz then bt half 11 they put it on slammerslam it self was great the staff didnt seem to know what was going when or where we was ment to get a dvd bag when we arrive but never got it still waiting so was good nite but could of been organised better sorry for spelling

Why would you advertise an event if you're only going to show half of it, and never let us listen to it? We turned up for the State Of Origin, which you advertised as an event you were showing. It was shown on two small screens on each level only. It started many hours before the world cup England game started, but the staff wouldn't give us the audio of the game. It's not like it would have interfered with the soccer, the soccer hadn't started yet and you were only playing music. One set of screens upstairs is all we asked for audio on. But, instead of letting us listen, you turned it off completely just after the first half started. We asked to cancel our food order if you weren't showing the game you advertised, so the bar staff said they would put it back on - which they didn't. Wish I had cancelled the food order anyway. £5 for a roo burger which was disgusting - if you'd paid £2 for it from a kebab van you'd demand your money back.

Went to watch the mayweather mcgregor fight on the Saturday, payed £9 in advance for 5 people that = 45 quid they basically robbed off us, the dress code read that they understand reading festival was on and appropriate dress was requires and stated things that weren't appropriate dress and these were; wellies, caps, hats, hoodies and a few other things. My friend had jogging bottoms on as he had no other clean clothes and he wasn't allowed in, when we asked why calmly the bouncer told us that the dress code stated no joggers (whilst we had the dress code up showing him it didn't) he proceeded to shrug us off telling us there's no chance of us getting a refund and we should go away and told another bouncer to get us out of the way because apparently a bouncers weakness in reading is a polite conversation. The boss was also there and was incredibly rude, proceeded to let people in who had jogger shorts on that were similar to my friends in, we asked if he ripped or rolled his shorts up would he be allowed in then and she refused to give an answer and she also had a huge problem with polite conversation. At the end of the day we weren't repeat custom so they were happy robbing £45 from us and will treat most people the same. Terrible customer service and I for one wouldn't like to drink in a place that treats a customer like a piece of crap.

We went out on Friday night with some of our work colleges and my bf! When getting there everything was fine we got a drink and started to have a good time, after my bf went to the bar and got told to leave.

We came out the front and left and I said this is pathetic and Maria who is the boss was standing out the front she swore in my face and personally I don't think that is acceptable she was so rude!! Don't go there!!

So we wait an hour for our breakfast because someone thought having only 2 waiting staff working on probably the busiest morning was a good idea. Breakfast is luke warm and when we asked what was going on the bar staff looked at me like i was some kind of idiot and walked away without saying anything! Shocking service! Nice place but when you order a premium beer for nearly a fiver you expect it to come in the correct glass and also the correct way to pour. IE the beer is supposed to have a slice of orange. It's not hard to buy oranges you get limes and lemons come on get it right

I have lost the ticket and I couldn’t get my coat back. It is my fault, I know. Thing is while I was asking politely the guard told me to leave and I couldn’t even explain that I left my jumper on the chair because he twisted my wrist and forced me to leave. It is definitely not the way the customer should be treated. I’m disappointed and won’t go there anymore.
