We enjoyed the café and the we used the loo too.

User

Very beautiful 😁 Happy to be here. Recommend to go University Church of St.Mary first. You can climb to the top of church and see 360 of Oxford

The best bookstore in the entire world. All I have to say about this.

User

Super place. Lots of choices. Friendly staff. Online click and collect is ideal as you just collect from the ground floor till.

My favourite hideout! I go there to relax in the cafe with a coffee and a good book.

Lovely atmosphere!! The interior is so calm compared to the streets outside, great to read a book in.📖📚💸 (Also the interior looks beautiful!!) 😀😍☕

Love it

I spent some time in the store with my children. They lived the children section as well as the selection of biographies of sports personalities.

I love Waterstones in Oxford. Great selection, lovely staff. Ordering takes no time. All good.

I have spent hours in here, and U have only been here twice since recently moving to Oxford. The staff are incredibly friendly & helpful, and the shop is very organized. While queuing for a book signing, the staff even provided little nibbles of cake to make the wait more palatable.

User

Fab event with Alan Lee, release of Beren and Luthien and signing also.

User

Always love it here and the coffee shop is very good too

A fantastic book shop with gifts too.

A lovely, relaxed cafe on the second floor. I can highly recommend the speciality "London Fog" tea! - this is a shot of Earl Grey with vanilla and steamed frothy milk- amazing! Will be coming back soon for more!

The girl who served me on the top level was delightful. Considering it was a Waterstones, they had a fairly large selection of plays (new writing, not just classics and Shakespeare), and the girl helped as much as she could instead of turning her nose up at me like I have experienced in some places. I started chatting to her about her books and it melted my heart to hear the passion in her voice when she was telling me she was having to move her clothes and things from her home storage because she has so many books. I really love that the store employ people who are passionate about books, it makes the service so much better! It's a huge store and very nicely organised. The only downfall is that the cafe area was constantly full. I went back three times in the day to try and sit down and there was never a space available. People were queuing regardless, god knows where they sat in the end. I think they need more table space and more seating areas in general really. Other than that, it was one of the nicest Waterstones I've visited!

We went to browse the books and have coffee. The coffee machine was out of order, but the 'alternative' filter coffee was fine (hence the 3 stars). They sold books, loads of books, too many books to look at!!

The people working there were really good!

I do love the shop for my books, but please limit the ignorants who sit on their lap tops with a cold cup of coffee for hours on end. It would be nice to sit down with a drink rather than stand with a tray!
