If you've missed your fish & chips when visiting #welcomebreak Fleet services, don't panic! The Harry Ramsden's chip van is now open and serving freshly cooked fish and chips every day between 10am and 8pm.
As Fleet southbound services is currently under development after the recent fire, unfortunately until further notice there is no HGV parking on the southbound side. Additionally there will be no coach parking southbound for the next 10 weeks. Northbound facilities are operating as normal. Best bridge in UK ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺ very nice as a bridge
For a bridge it aint bad. For refreshment its good. Toilets smell a bit.
What can I say? First, AND MOST DEFINITELY LAST, experience of a Subway breakfast. Coffee mediocre too. Bridge closed. Is Harry Ramsden's on the Southbound side? Staff abrupt to the point of rudeness. KFC also closed. Had a Starbuck's breakfast bap once. Truly awful, so wouldn't risk that again.
Still not rebuilt since the fire, what is open in its place is a cold marquee, with a floor that shakes when anyone walks on it, and a very limited choice of food. The breakfast at Harry Ramsden this morning consisted of items that were either over cooked, or devoid of any flavour, at least the coffee was ok.
