Crews were called to a suspected house fire today after neighbours had heard a smoke alarm sounding.
Crews from Great Holm and Broughton attended.
The house had light smoke in the building which was caused by eggs on an electric cooker that was not turned off properly.
... We used an enforcer to enter the property and also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear all the smoke.
Crew would like to remind everyone to ensure you check you have turned off all appliances when leaving the house.

... Crews used chimney rods and a stirrup pump to locate and extinguish the fire in the chimney. They also used the thermal imaging camera to check in the loft space for potential spread to the thatched roof. ππ₯
