Went for lunch yesterday with my daughter and friend , food as always was excellent , also was the ice cream cone we couldn't resist ! Staff helpful and friendly.

We've had a lovely day. Great food, lovely garden for children and very friendly staff.

Was super busy customers queing out the door but with 3 staff at the helm I was served in just 5 minutes from being at the back of the queue. Palma violet ice cream is delicious. So glad we went and relaxed in the garden .

Visited wheelbirks a few times now food is good . prices as you may expect for this type of place but good portions well presented and if you are a tea drinker hats off one of the few places where you get your tea in a pot along with a pot of hot water well done this this is how it should be done not a tea bags in a cup with no where to put the bag once you take it out . Will definitely go back

The staff went over and above the call of duty for my niece of 2 yrs...a mini hot chocolate with marshmallows and a baby ice cream were brought when the adults all had the normal sized versions.. she absolutely loved them. We'll definitely be coming back

Such a great place to escape to in good or bad weather. Beautiful food, great indoor play space for little ones, lovely outdoor park with cows and chickens and a great little shop.

Lovely staff, all very friendly, polite and helpful. Great to see behind the scenes on Open Farm Day, can really see the animals are very well cared for and at the heart of everything. Keep up the fantastic work - we’ll be back again!

Lovely spot to enjoy some ice cream. Great to take the Grandkids

Have been several times, with my family, latest addition is our 4 year old granddaughter, who had her first ever ice cream experience when she was under a year old here, she loves to come for the gorgeous ice cream, and to enjoy the play area both indoors and out doors and to make new friends when she is here and when we can take her to see the calf's she thinks they're " so adorable". Wheelbirks is a WYSIWYG, what you see is what you get. You get, a warm welcome, you get space for family to sit and enjoy a meal, a snack, or just a coffee, a place where the kids of all ages have the chance to explore their imagination . No kids today? Then sit in the child free area and just chill.

We don't come every week, we don't come every month, but we do come, and intend to continue. Thank you to everyone at Wheelbirks.

Great afternoon with the team who allowed me to join them in milking the cows today as part of my 40th birthday bucket list.



Highly recommend and well worth a visit. The foods amazing and the kids loved the ice cream.

Celebrated our sons 1st birthday here today and it couldn’t have went better. From the communication to the cake, I couldn’t fault one thing. The girls did a great job with the birthday wooden flags on the table, asking when we wanted the cake brought out even singing happy birthday with us. Kept the table nice and clear and always asking if everything was ok but staying out of your way at the same time. Food was great and the cake was delicious. Thank you so much we all had a lovely afternoon.

We love Wheelbirks from the drive, scenery, coffee and cakes to the amazing ice cream. A little disgruntled by the new queuing system though. Usually I just queue at the cake counter and make a full order there. On Monday I did that but then was told I had to join another queue for the ice cream. I see your point but it makes for very difficult ordering for lone adults with small people... can't easily queue for ice cream with hot drinks tray. Melted ice cream if you have to then queue for coffees and cakes...

Been a few times, always nice ice cream. This time we just bought a tub to take out.

Nice place but very over priced! Asked for a small scoop of ice cream for my 2 year old and had to pay full price! Could really do with a toddler menu for young kids as the scoops of ice cream are adult size and I can't justify paying that much for most of it to be wasted! Could really do with a gate on the kids area too to stop the little ones constantly running out!

Love the venue and the ice cream but was disappointed about how they catered for my son who has a milk intolerance. We have visited before and he had sorbet but yesterday they only had one flavour on display which my son tried but didn't like. The staff member who served us refused to look and see if there were any other flavours available and when I asked if there were any cakes he could have was told they are a dairy farm so what do you expect. I asked if he could have a sandwich but it was just past 4pm, so he got nothing. Looks like this is crossed off our list of places to visit as a family if they can't/won't cater for him which is a shame as it's somewhere we have always enjoyed and my little girl and I both love ice cream! 😢
