When in to watch football only to find out it clashed with rugby. But to be fair, there were signs all over bar advising us of that. Watched football , ordered food which was delivered very quickly (unlike another big pub). Great atmosphere and service.

We had our christmas meal here on Thursday evening and it was great - as usual! Really good value too. The staff are fantastic and very friendly and we love having our monthly book club meetings there.

We had our book club Xmas meal here this week, Prawn cocktail, Christmas Dinner and lemon meringue cheesecake....Wow! For £11.99 it was amazing, fantastic value, and to top it all astounding service. guess where we're going next year?!

We had our Christmas meal here, we were a large party and as always the food was spot on, it was hot and delicious. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We had our Christmas meal here tonight. After other local Christmas meals this month that cost three times the price and were barely edible I was overjoyed at the quality and great service. Thank you for making our evening fantastic

Fantastic place. Go here regularly to eat, can't fault the 2 for £9 menu. The food is excellent, whilst also being great value.



Drinks are reasonably priced and they have a good selection.

Came in as both the child and I were undecided where to eat. We weren't disappointed!.. lovely staff, lovely food can't fault it

Booked a party for 25 people, kids and adults! Fabulous service, really accommodating and very friendly service, could not do enough for us!! Food was great and was brought out at the same time despite ordering separately. Really impressed with our whole experience and it made my daughter's 16th Birthday!!! Thank you guys

Went for Christmas dinner with family and friends had a great time, staff were very helpful especially Laura

We popped in for something to eat as an alternative to the Cocked Hat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food that we ordered was very good. Overall experience was great. The only negative was the toilets are disgusting and could do with a revamp to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the pub.

Food was nice but after ordering just after food started at 12 to be told 45 min wait was bit surprised!! And it was a long 45 min wait!!

Me and a group of three friends went in and ordered a drink as they called last orders. Then we were told to finish are drinks or get out, 2 minutes after ordering the drinks.



I went in 3 times and the same thing happened each time. The last time it was 30 secs after ordering the drink. And when my friend argued our case, saying we should be allowed to have longer or they shouldn't have served us and we want our money back, the lady behind the bar called him a "cunt" and we had other bartenders agreeing with her and threatening to get bouncers to throw us out.



This all happened about a year a go and we all haven't returned since.



I would discourage anyone who would consider their rude custom.

Waited over an hour for food to have mushrooms served someone with an allergy and was told "we dont have button fot that"

Only pub in the area meant to be showing sky sports and the had rugby on all screens and weren't showing the football. Rugby was on BBC so they should have played the game. Rude staff too.

Just tried to buy the bar tender a drink and he is no longer allowed to accept one. What is this world coming too. Sod u green king u twats
