Country Pub in the beautiful Sussex Countryside with restaurant serving traditional home cooked food.
Our full menu is available Tuesday - Saturday, open for both lunch (12pm-2: 30pm) and dinner (6pm-9pm). Sunday Lunch is available between 12pm & 3pm.

We are not new to the pub trade or the area come to that. We have lived and worked near Battle for over 20 years. . . But better news, The White Hart is a Free House. We are not tied to a Pub Company!

Between Mel and myself, we have over 35 years experience running pubs and bars across Kent and Sussex. Our aim is to bring The White Hart to life and make it what it used to be. . . one of the key destination pubs in the area.

We have a new menu that is modern and perfectly suits our newly designed and fully refurbished interior. We offer simple pub food served in a stylish way that we think suits the way people want to eat. . . But we still have some of the old favourites like our "famous" Steak and Kidney pudding!
We also have a daily changing specials menu to tempt you.
Also we offer an over 60's menu at lunchtimes from Tuesday to Friday So whether it's a lunchtime drink and a quick bite. . . or maybe an evening meal, just come up the hill and pop in. . . . We'll make you very welcome.
