IMPORTANT: Take the opportunity to come this Monday, because I will be away from the 8th and there won't be a session until 29th July!
Our model on Monday 1st July is the delightful Lisa Adams!
Lisa modelled for us a few months ago, and was great to draw, (and came the pub for a dink afterwards too), so it should be a great session!
... Like I said, unfortunately there'll be no sessions while I'm away (I think I've used up all my favours!), so make sure you get your fix this Monday!

Tomorrow (Monday 24th June) we welcome back as our model, Kam!
Kam was a BIG hit when he modelled for us last. Kam has a perfect body for trying to draw male anatomy... he has such a toned physique, and hold classical academic poses... If you were there you know what I mean, if you weren't you REALLY want to take the opportunity and come and draw him!

What a great model Dee was!

Hannah hasn't been to WLDS for a while now, but once a WLDSer always a...
Here is her second solo show - again in Pall Mall.
If you get a chance, go see it - we all need a bit of support!

Salut mes amis! I'm back from France, hope Connell looked after you all well (but not too well)!
I can't wait for tomorrow's session. We have a new model to us - Dee!
Dee lives and works locally as a professional model, so perhaps some of you may have already drawn her?
... I haven't, but one of our regular models (Debbie) recommended her, so that's good enough for me 🙂

Our model tomorrow (Monday 10th June) is another favourite local model... Becki!
Becki is famed for her yoga inspired poses (which helped her hold an impossible stomach-crunching pose for 5mins last time), lets she if she can do it for 10 tomorrow! 😉
I'm still in France, having a great time on my Portrait painting workshop, but once again Connell will be taking the helm.

On Monday 3rd June our model is local favourite Carol Hurley!
The sessions with Carol always have a great vibe, as she's a treat to draw. So don't miss out!
I will be away, taking my prize-place on a portrait workshop in the South of France (!) but Connell will be looking after the session for me (he needs the practice for when he opens his own Atelier) 😉

There definitely is a session on this Bank-Holiday Monday, 27th May!
On Monday, our model was due to be the illustrious Barrie Novell. Sadly, it falls to me to let you know (if you didn't already) that Barrie died suddenly of a heart attack on Thursday Morning.
The life-drawing world in the U.K. has lost one of its most vivacious characters.
... I thought it only appropriate to ask one of Barrie's friends and colleagues from the London scene to fill his spot, and Boyko Grigorov has graciously agreed to model for us, despite the difficulty and short-notice of the circumstances.
It's been a while since Boyko modelled for us, and it will a pleasure to welcome him back.
I hope as many of you as possible can make it to the session.
