What a great place to stay! I'm impressed by the staff and the hotel. The people were so nice and always help with whatever they can. The food in the restaurant offers very delicious meals and the orders came on time. The hotel is so beautifully decorated and romantic! No words to describe... I highly recommend it!

User

Went for afternoon tea for my mum's birthday and it was brilliant. Service was fantastic, food was yummy and the place was beautiful.

User

We were here at a wedding. The hotel was perfect for the event. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to wander outside & use the shaded decked area, overlooking fields. All staff very friendly and attentive. 3 course meal was lovely and served by a lovely, friendly waiter. Think called Rob. (Table 5 14th July) We stayed the night in a beautiful air conditioned room, which was a blessing. Loved the pillows. Only used one but just like soft marshmallow. Had very good sleep. Excellent choice for breakfast and loved the way it was arranged. (A bit different from the usual buffet.) Hotel all very tastefully furnished and gave a cosy, welcoming feel. Would highly recommend

User

We held our wedding here on Saturday 2nd June. Absolutely amazing day. The staff go above and beyond any expectations we had. Stunning venue, great friendly staff who are up for a laugh while being completely professional.

User

Was curious to see what the hotel was like now as we married there in 2003. We weren't disappointed. We didn't stay over but had a lovely 3 course meal in the Seasons restaurant. I will leave a very honest review. The two girls in the restaurant are a credit - were really attentive. The last time we had such good service was at a Michelin star restaurant and this level of service is rare thesedays! Yes the food takes a little while to prepare but we enjoyed the relaxing and comfortable surroundings and we weren't made to feel like we were on a conveyor belt. Some people were whingeing about the wait on food but seriously people this is fine dining which does take time to prepare...it's not a hungry horse microwave meal!! The complimentary bread and oil was a nice touch although the bread wasn't to my taste. The food was really lovely. We had a tasty soup for starter served by the waiter. Hubby's main was duck. This looked amazing. I chose the game pie but was a bit taken aback by the Desperate Dan portion! It wasn't really fine dining- I'd say better suited to the bar menu. Other people's mains looked amazing. The desserts are absolutely to die for. Hubby had passion fruit cheesecake (deconstructed) and i had the apple dessert. Absolutely scrummy! Despite my dodgy main i would definitely return for another meal. I love the small comfortable and intimate restaurant, the staff make you feel special and the food is top notch. We were fortunate enough to find a groupon deal so our 3 course meal including drinks was a steal at under £50. I would happily have paid the full price though!

User

Very pleasant hotel, a wow factor when you turn into the drive for the first time. Staff were very obliging and the food was very good, i thought the drinks were overpriced until i paid for drinks at the theatre!!!!!!!!!!

User

This hotel is a lovely place to stay, the room was lovely, the staff really friendly and helpful. We had a great meal in the restaurant which was fantastic and very good value for money. I would recommend this place many times over and will be returning.

User

So lucky to find this hotel and would book again. Beautiful setting, fabulous clean room. Nothing too much trouble. Such a relaxing place to stay away from the bustle yet so close to the centre and about 6 minutes drive from the arena. Excellent.

User

Myself and my husband got married here in October and we had the best day it was truly magical, from the booking of our day to all the planning then the day itself was amazing. Just had a Groupon Afternoon tea with Champagne, a anniversary gift from our son. What a beautiful place the decor is gorgeous & opulent. A really lovely young lady saw to all our requirements. Her name was Bianca. Firstly we had to choose our tea from an assortment of small jars, wow what a choice. Just couldn't fault anything. Happy to recommend. The scones were just out the oven & sandwiches freshly made. The hotel stands in its own grounds, an oasis in the middle of such a new bustling town of Milton Keynes. Well done all

User

I was treated to afternoon tea by my son for my 50th birthday...but had to re-book, which was no problem to the restaurant...as my car broke down...the Groupon voucher was mon-fri...my son was not able to get a day off so re-booked it for a Saturday..accepted there would be an additional charge...the service was lovely...really pleasant staff...the only thing I would suggest would they had a choice of fillings for the sandwiches, as my son didn't like any of the fillings...but all I can say is...as we had finished..my son went up to pay the additional charge, and the man who he spoke to said that he would waver the charge....what a lovely gesture...we even had a doggy bag for the delicious cakes we couldn't eat...top marks

User

I am lucky to photograph weddings here a good few times a year. Everything is always perfect. The building and decor lend itself to some amazing photo opportunities. The grounds the same.

I can't speak highly enough of the food!!! Even a sandwich is far too much for me to eat!! And I can eat a lot.

Can't wait to work here again this year.

User

Great customer service from the staff and a lovely afternoon tea with champagne would do it again definitely. Might even see about staying the night.

User

Delightful afternoon tea. Thank you to my lovely granddaughter Isabella Smith for the birthday treat.

User

Clean and quiet even though there was a wedding party on. Very helpful staff and a nice room

User

The staff are professional and polite and nothing is too much trouble , our hotel room was beautiful and housekeeping did a great job of keeping it that way! A wonderful gem and lovely break ! Thank you !

Tasty afternoon tea, really nice building...service could have been better though!

User

Lovely hotel in really nice setting

Comfortable and clean

Little expensive and would have liked more variety on dinner menu, breakfast was excellent

Only small criticism we stayed 2 nights and our tea tray and toilet rolls were not replenished so we had to ask

Recommend though 😊
