Took my boys to the Free Santa’s grotto today. It was brilliant. Not huge and overwhelming, but also not at all rushed and didn’t feel commercial at all. Santa and his elves (stardust and sprinkles) were lovely. So welcoming. No queue, it was also free, and great little gifts!

User

To the wonderful Xscape thank you so much for arranging the event to visit Santa Claus! I went today with my two sons and husband. I must say we were very happy with Santa Claus and his elves! Such lovely people! My 2 year old son were just loving every minute of it and kept cuddling Santa. And my 9 year old son is hard of hearing, Santa and the elves made sure that he was looking at them before talking to him. The gift selection they had to choose from is amazing such wonderful gifts for a free event! Thank you all for making my boys day a bit extra special with this event i hope we will have the same Santa Claus for next year! He is awesome!

User

I did a ski session at Snozone at MK during the week. The snow was perfect and the staff are always cheerful, chatty and willing to help. The slope patrollers are very skilled in their job and keep the pomas and snow in very good condition, and especially the money the management spent on the new chillers. Money well spent, I will definitely will be becoming a member here and a regular, even if I have to travel a distance.

User

Had such a great time and the staff were amazing showing us where to go what to do and helping us out organising other activities at no cost because some of our group couldn't make it last minute! a fantastic place and just the best fun and made to feel so welcome!

User

Had a great time on the slopes with my sons and two Grandson. I have to say what fab staff you have there. Nothing was to much trouble, the staff were so helpful. 10 out of 10 for the staff on the slopes there were great fun and took there time to help us , thank you lads you made it fun for us.

User

Had Richard Ellis today as an all day booking, I was the weakest out of 8 of us but was absolutely amazing with myself, was patience but unfortunately I had a bit of an accident and had to sit out of the last 3 hours. Kept checking if I was okay, fully helped me. Would 100% recommend this guy. Also the overall place was great, lovely staff. Going back to finish my levels as soon as I'm better

User

Brilliant place, really friendly. Nathan is an excellent coach and can't recommend him or the place enough. Can't wait to go back at the end of December.

User

Booked a full day snowboarding lesson for my wife and it was worth every penny. Yes it gets crowed at weekend, as you would expect, so made the good decision of taking a day off work and doing a mid week course. My wife went from complete beginner to linking turns in 7 hours. The instructor, Lucy, was very good and explained everything and gave demonstrations to help explain. Couldn't rate the course high enough and we will go on holiday now with plenty to carry on and practice.

User

Beginners ski lesson on Sunday afternoon - Becky West our instructor was absolutely brilliant. She did an amazing job teaching lessons 1&2 - we had such a laugh and I can’t wait to go back - she made a very nervous woman (me) completely relax and actually enjoy herself. I was rushing to get back on the travellator so I could come down again. It was a very busy time on the slopes so I’ll probably look at booking a morning lesson next time.

User

Another fantastic lesson for my son with instructor Josh, unfortunately it was his last lesson as he finished his level 5, he's so disappointed that he does'nt have to have anymore lessons as Josh is a fantastic instructor and has always gone out of his way to be able to take Harry for his lessons which we are so appreciative of and think it's really important for kids to have a teacher whom they trust and get on well with. We will still be going when we can as my partner and myself still need a few more lessons so will be booking in with Josh when we can. Definately recommend this place for ski lessons, staff very helpful and chatty.

User

A family outing with a mix of abilities, we thoroughly enjoyed snowzone, the slopes and lessons were great, but the experience was really made by the wonderful team, every person we spoke to from check in staff to instructors were so friendly and helpful, especially the equipment team. A great day out, we can't wait to go back!

User

Took the grandchildren, youngest loved the sledding, eldest had a snowboarding lesson, he had a blast!!! Can't wait to take them again, only thing that disappointed were the hot drinks, not great and expensive, maybe should make it more like a ski lodge type thing, have staff who enjoy being there and make a fab hot chocolate, not the tasteless one on offer.

User

I went with my son as he had a full day beginners course. Coaches were great and my son really really enjoyed his day if a little tired at the end. I had a wander around the area and lots of shops and eateries which were very expensive. I used the cafe in Xscape MK and found it to be very overpriced although sitting area was pleasant. Only 1 staff member to serve which made waiting incredibly slow especially when skiers only got 15min breaks. Would recommend the whole place but take your own food!!

User

Went on Sunday....... big mistake so overcrowded. Wasted 30 mins as my daughters friend was given ski's or boots that were faulty. Once inside she was unable to clip her boot into one of the ski's she then returned twice and I asked to have new equipment. Which worked thankfully. Also there were two queues to get on the lift but it seems that the people having a lesson could push in at the front from an entrance at the bottom of the teaching slope. My son was in the queue for quite a while and in the meantime these other two kids went up and came down twice. When it is busy lessons or not they should join the queue like everyone else.

User

Snow conditions were poor and large lumps and bumps all over the slope which started to reveal icy patches

The drag lifts were not managed and very undulating which meant lots of novices fell over and it was very stop start

Due to lots tobogganing changing facilities over run and cramped very disappointing as we drove 2 hours each way to get there

User

Mixed bag really. Great ‘snow’ and more to play with than other snowdomes but lighting is a little dull and equipment (snowboard boots) were terrible. High time for some investment in new kit I’d say. All roUnd it’s a good venue and probably the best you’ll find indoor.

User

They call it “Tabogganing but it’s not, you get to sit on this really small piece of plastic thing. Then you only get a third of the whole slope to go down on. Also you spend more time climbing uphill then actually sliding down. I have been to the snow dome in Tamworth and there you get to slide down the whole slope in a toboggan and there is this thing that actually takes you up to the top of the slope so no struggling uphill with a toboggan in tow. So yes Xcape in Milton Keynes was quite disappointing

User

Yet again the lift up to Cineworld is broken today. The accessibility in this place is utterly shocking. Having to find a member of security to escort us through to the outside staff lift with one of my daughters in her wheelchair and the other in her pushchair - then needing to find someone to let us back down is not a good enough service. Not to mention the disabled toilet is once again out of order and there’s no changing places!

User

Our daughter loves flying at iFly- she is a bit of an expert now :) Please can you explain though why we have to change my disabled son on a disgusting toilet floor. I also note that there is no unisex disabled facilities in the changing areas of the snowdome. Please explain then how my wife or disabled people with carers of the other gender can you use your "disabled accessible" toilets? Please visit the Changing Places Website to see how to do it properly.
