Q. WHAT IS YOUR STYLE IN MAKEUP?

A. The best way to describe it would be a mixture between Western and Eastern makeup. It's not too light and not too dark. It's glamorous and simple at the same time. I don't over-do the black eye makeup, and I don't whiten your face. I match your foundation to your color, and I highlight and contour so your best features are sculpted and you still look like yourself. I love simplicity.

Q. HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT MAKEUP TO USE ON A CLIENT?

A. Knowing what to use and how to use it is a combination of experience, intuition and an inspiration of the person's unique beauty. Depending on the client's face, I use whatever suits the skin, its coloring, and its shape. What the person is wearing also influences the makeup I choose. In general, though, I don't think when I work. I find my best work comes out when I don't plan it and it becomes an intuitive process. Like any artist will tell you, describing what we do and how we do it is quite difficult.

Makeup is very much like painting. The finished painting is a combination of colors, textures, manipulating light and emphasizing bone structure.

Q. DO YOU DO WEDDINGS?

A. Absolutely! I’m specialized in bridal makeup, and I love seeing the bride look absolutely stunning with her dress and veil on. I can take up to 2 people plus the bride sometimes (Special packages for the sister and the mother of the bride are found).

Q. WHAT MAKEUP BRAND DO YOU USE?

A. I never stick to one brand. Because of that, I have a massive kit. I spend months shopping and trying for the right products, and I mix and create new textures and colors to make you look your best. Some brands I own are Kryolan, Make Up For Ever, Bobbi Brown, Gurlain, Artdeco Bourjouis, Clinique, MAC, L'Oreal, plus many others. A lot of the brands have been imported from abroad.

Q. WILL MY MAKEUP LAST ALL NIGHT?

A. Absolutely! I use high quality makeup and primers that allow the makeup to adhere very closely to the skin and last until the next day, but it is not recommended to leave it all that time.

Q. DO YOU TRAVEL?

A. Yes I do. Mainly between Cairo and Alex. Extra charges do apply, depending on where I'm traveling to.

Q. WILL MY LASHES FALL OFF?

A. No. Not unless you practically pry them off your eyes : p

Q. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A. You have 14 days (2 weeks) before the reserved occasion to cancel your appointment. Otherwise, charges apply. This is to ensure that every client gets her appointment in order.
