We had a mid week girlie catch up last night, the staff were all very friendly and helpful we all had the 3 course special offer , all 9 of us were very pleased with our food and service, we were so impressed we booked to come back for our Christmas meal ! thanks ye olde leather and bottle !

Sudden chance for a meal out so turned up on the off chance. Shown straight to a table and drinks brought to us as soon as we ordered. Friendly staff and good service. The good is good pub food - particularly like the halloumi and fries. Definitely would recommend.

Lovely food, although most of the roasts had gone by the time we got there... not surprised as gorgeous. I had the rump, one of the best I've had in a while and cooked to perfection!

Child's menu good and puds to die for!! Enjoy!

Love this venue for many reasons a) it's my local and it serves great food and drink b) I have recently set up a morning breakfast networking meeting and they couldn't be more hospitable and c) ran a digital marketing workshop in the venue today and they were so accommodating allowing us as much space and we needed and supplied us with excellent refreshments. A fantastically accomodating venue! Thank you to all the team! �

I visited Ye Olde Leathern Bottel for a networking event and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come again.

Amazing ‘burns night’ ... wonderful food. Staff brilliant. We were not hurried between courses... Bag pipes to pipe the haggis in. Atmosphere was wonderful My husband is Scottish and was majorly overwhelmed. Thank you for bringing a wee bit of Scotland’s magic to England ���

It's our local so pop in for drinks fairly often- went for dinner tonight. It was very busy and the service and food was good! We had our orders taken quickly and service was attentive. From some of the reviews it seems it can be hit and miss but I can say that tonight was very nice! A big thumbs up to the (young) waiting staff who dealt with the busy dining area really well!!!! �

I was one of a group 10 women friends dining there last night. The waiter was attentive, gave us time to chat before ordering our food. Everyone else's food came but mine even though three of us ordered the sea food grill! One of the sea food orders came as pasta which my friend graciously accepted; mine didn't arrive until the rest of the party had finished theirs. I did ask the waiter if I could have a free bottle of prosecco for the inconvenience to which he agreed.

First time here with the family for Sunday lunch. Lovely food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We all enjoyed it!

After a long hot day in the sun supporting the annual Three Counties Cycle Ride, we decided to have a meal at this lovely restaurant.

Not only was there a good range of food on the menu, the meals were well cooked and were served by a first class, attentive waiter, Toby.

Waitress was very friendly...had a roast turkey was a tad on the cold side ....asked for extra gravy which came in a shot sized glass....roast potatoes were undercooked and undersized also.....was slightly disappointed as had had same meal at shore horse maidenhead.....which was good value...

I was disappointed that only one slice of my topside of beef was edible the other two were all gristle , I did point it out to the young lad clearing the dishes. His response ? Have a sweet dessert to take away the taste ! I ordered apple pie and ice cream when I got halfway down it the apple pie had vestiges of custard on it that had obviously been scraped off as someone realised I was just having ice cream with it . Custard was all over the inside bottom of the dish. I was amazed at how little food we were given , I was last in there for a Sunday roast in November and our plates were much fuller. The service was reasonable and the waitress pleasant...

We usually come here a couple of times a month as it's close to home and serves lovely food. We ate here on Friday evening and were very disappointed with the service. Our mains came fairly quickly, no problems there, but after ordering our desserts and waiting for almost 50 minutes we had no choice but to leave. During the time we waited, my husband and I spoke to three different members of staff, the first explained they had been forgotten and the others then claimed that the desserts were 'just being made' after 30 minutes. After waiting a further 20 minutes and still nothing, we decided to leave as our three year old daughter was getting very tired and upset. I'm afraid we won't be back.

Was disappointed last night with a couple of things one of my friends ordered the mixed grill told the waiter he didn't eat steak was it possible to get another piece of chicken waiter said no problem the when the meal came out there was nothing to replace the steak asked the waiter why and he said they would charge extra for it to replace the steak !! And drinks that were ordered when the main meal came did not turn up until the waiter came to clear our table

After the main meal and we told him that the drinks hadn't come out sat through the meal with no drinks bit of a poor show really

I used to live in Finchampstead and Ye Older Leathern Bottle was a nice pub. Took my husband and son there for dinner last night and it was not a nice experience. I don't think I've ever experienced such a rude waiter. He literally dumped the food on the table along with a bottle of wine. He didn't open the wine or ask if we wanted to try it. One of our main courses was wrong. We asked for 2 salads and got 1. The cheese board was supposed to be for 2 but clearly wasn't and did not consist of the cheeses listed on the menu. I won't be going back.

This place used to be reasonably good, never great but ok. This time (and the time before) it's been atrocious. The food is good, but he service is the slowest I've ever experienced anywhere, and I've experience a lot. Such a shame. The problem seems to stem from the chain's need to employ young people as waiting staff. They simply don't have the memory capacity or level of customer care required. Basically we were forgotten. A table of 8 with one 3 year old having to wait ages to order, ages to receive mains, ages for the plates to be removed, ages for the desert order to be taken and then ages for the bill to be delivered. By then I just wanted to leave.

The surroundings and the staff that served us was friendly and helpful, But my prawn cocktail was atrocious a small amounts of prawns on a small lettuce leaf, butter for my bread was rockhard took such a long time for The food to arrive we all nearly walked out will not be going back for a very long time

The drinks took half an hour to come out and the only reason we got them was because my brother went to the bar to see what was taking so long, only to find they were sat at the bar and hadn't moved in what looked like quite a while. Then we waited and waited and waited for the mains to arrive. Only about an hour and a half after ordering. No one came to take the plates away after we had finished, and again we're left waiting for ages before we went AGAIN to look for someone to serve us some deserts and take our finished plates away that we're sat in front of us for about half an hour. In total we were here for just over 3 hours and all we had was a main meal and a desert. The manager took 20% off our bill but to be honest there was no apology or explanation as to why the service was appalling. Will most definitely not be coming back here again
