Amazing Sunday lunches from 12-6pm!

User

Sunday Roasts served 12-6pm every Sunday!

User

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Parsons Street , and there's a fair amount of choice - Thai, Japanese, but Hubbie fancied a burger. Hey presto we found this little gem! Imagine his excitement to see that the Thursday night offer was 'beer and burger for £13! Thursday night is also quiz night so we stayed for that too.

Can't fault the menu, food or service and would definitely recommend it and hopefully go back soon . Didn't win the quiz but had fun trying

User

We visited Banbury last night for one evening.

The olde reine deer pub was given to us as a recommendation!

Our meal was wonderful and we couldn't of asked for better service!!

Staff were very friendly and happy and bought our drinks to the table every time. We didn't have to go to the bar once!

Would highly recommend a visit for food and drink!!

Great ales too!!

We spent two days chilling in this pub which allows dogs 🐕. Ambience is fantastic with a real fire, great food and very friendly staff. The oldest pub in Banbury we managed to feel like locals whilst our Motorhome was being serviced.....very Christmasy with good music....I felt like I had stepped back into the seventies and that was no bad thing. We plugged in our phones and laptop and really enjoyed the vibe. Thank you Ye Olde Reine Deer.....just wish we were locals!

User

We had a lovely steak dinner last night. Great food and good friendly service.

User

We chose to eat here only because we fancied doing the Thursday evening pub quiz. However we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The food was excellent, we particularly enjoyed the chunky chips and venison burger, but all the meals were lovely. The service was also EXCELLENT, the staff couldn't have been more friendly, attentive, polite or attentive, it really was appreciated. We'll definitely be back.

User

We booked The Globe room for an early Christmas family gathering and absolutely loved it. The room is like something out of Hogwarts, it's like stepping back in time. The staff had laid the tables with gold table runners, candles and crackers and the room had Christmas garlands, with lights, Christmas tree and 'snow' on the windows. All the staff were excellent, so attentive and helpful - Anthony was really friendly and helpful during the booking process and on our arrival and our waiter, Josh, was great fun. Food was excellent and brought to the table very efficiently. We all had such a great time......we plan to book again for next year!! Well done.

User

My favourite watering hole in Banbury. First public house I used when I first arrived in the town back in 1978 some great memories.

User

Lovely old pub. Plenty of character. Lovely beers from the Hook Norton brewery. Lovely food.

User

I go down and play at the Blues club. Friendly staff and great enthusiastic bunch that get down there for the music.

User

Great well kept beer, appetising pub grub at a reasonable price with a relaxing atmosphere, great place to be on a wet Saturday afternoon or out the back on a summers day.

User

Great meal fantastic staff wonderful surroundings we will be going back

User

Great food and ambiance, Saturday night was Steak night, fabulous value, but there is a good menu to go along with it.

User

Four of us on a weekend catch up in Banbury. We had been in for a drink at lunchtime & the food & atmosphere looked good so decided to go back for dinner. We weren't disappointed. The steaks were fantastic, very well presented & the staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

User

Found, via Google, that this was a "doggie" pub, and ideally placed for a stop off for a meal when travelling from Leeds to catch the 23.30 night ferry from Portsmouth to Le Havre with our schnoodle, Sybil. Very friendly buzzing pub (6.30 on a Saturday evening) with great food in the bar (6oz steak and chips for £6 was brilliant). Loved the Hook Norton Brewery beer - but only had 1 pint as long drive ahead. Will stop off here again.

User

After a mistake on the menu, the staff were great! A free round of drinks wasn't needed, but appreciated and the food was delicious. Steak cooked perfectly, Seabass fell to piecea and the desserts were equally lush!

Lovely staff makes a welcoming atmosphere. We'll come back again.

User

A great place with fantastic atmosphere. such a historic setting and great beer too. Well worth a visit when in Banbury. Good food served from lunchtime.

User

16 of us had Christmas lunch here today, we had a great time, the waiting staff great, the food was lovely all served on time and the main was lovely and hot.

A special effort was made for me as I didn’t like the vegetarian option on the menu..

This is the 2nd time we’ve had Christmas lunch here and have had a good experience each time, will certainly come again...

User

Good pub and good atmosphere.

Real fire, the customers and character make this such a wonderful place to visit.

User

Get to the blues club on the first Sunday of every month ... brilliant night and it’s free !
