Amaya (daughter of Dr Natasha Shukla and Dr Neel Shukla) has her second dental check-up at age 1. It is important to take your child to the dentist when their first milk teeth appear. This is so they become familiar with the environment and get to know the dentist. The dentist can help prevent decay and identify any oral health problems at an early stage. Just opening up the child's mouth for the dentist to take a look at is useful practice for the future. This will stop your child worrying about future visits.

During half term 16th-28th February, we are running an oral health programme aimed at children and young people.
This will include a free dental check-up, diet advice, brushing advice and fluoride application for prevention as required.

Our recent CQC inspection went exceptionally well. The assessor spent a full day at the practice. To quote from the inspection report – “beautiful practice”, “excellent care”, “confident in the ability of the staff who work at the practice”. Despite achieving excellent results, we are still aiming to continually improve the practice. Our team are constantly training and attending courses to keep abreast of the latest developments in Dentistry.

Hygienist services available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with late evening appointments available until 8pm with Miss Jenny Emery.
Jenny comes from a family of dentists and she qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Sheffield.
