A week ago today we held an incredibly emotional, yet joyous tribute to Scott Hutchison.

There's nothing more rock and roll than stats and spreadsheets. At least according to Newsbeat, who took the maths to the max at Trees last weekend...

You might think I'm too old for a festival (43 - eep) but let me tell you - I've been around the block - I lived 10 mins away from Glastonbury growing up and have been many times. The thing is you appreciate every second of being kid free! Reading, Isle of Wight, Download - I'm a big festival gal - I love live music. I'm already in for 2016 - what an amazing Festival - so well put together - so chilled out - a lovely setting - an amazing crowd - all the benefits of a small festival. I may be turned. Many a favourite moment - loved Turbo Wolf Arcane Roots Nothing but Theives Fort Worth Kerb Dog moved to tears at times - but I am a softie! Anyway couldn't recommend this festival enough - great bands, great atmosphere, great crowd, great organisation - love love love it! We will be back with bells on - thank you to all you lovely guys who put it together

We went to 2000 Trees yesterday to see Mooseblood, Neckdeep, Then Thickens, Basement, Twin Atlantic and to find a few new bands :) Mooseblood literally made my life, I can't even describe how good they were and how much I love them! Such a good little festival, so chill. And to see Mooseblood twice in one day, playing on a little chill acoustic stage in the forest where everyone sits down and there's lights hanging from the trees was insane. The sound on all the stages was mega too! And the food trucks were great! We just went for the day and then came home, and I would recommend to anyone!

User

The best festival ever!!!! Perfect size, amazing people, amazing bands! Plenty of musical variation. And it's in a stunning location in the heart of the cotswolds :D Oh and the beer and cider is goooooooooood! :P

User

Really great atmosphere throughout. Some amazing food stands that were as exciting to experience as the bands. All the staff and volunteers did an amazing job. Great family friendly environment and a lovely setting.

User

Out of all the festivals that I went to, bearing in mind that I went to BoardMasters, Truck and Reading Festival as well as this one, 2000 Trees was by far the best one. Everything about this festival is fantastic, from the food to the layout to the people to the services!

User

My 6th trees festival... And easy to say at 8 months pregnant it didn't disappoint and I had yet another amazing weekend (although a slightly different experience sober )

Only thing I would say are although changes were made to the campervan area after last years recommendations still 2 toilets is not enough for the amount of people using them (ie the whole car park as well as people camping in vans)

Also absolutely gutted I couldn't use my Β£10 bar voucher on cider... But my partner certainly made use of it instead :)

Thankyou to the amazing staff that gave me a viewing platform pass so that I could still enjoy all the bands without getting knocked/squished it was certainly very welcome and I'm pretty sure the 'bump' enjoyed it.

I'll be back next year!!

User

It was fab! I saw neck deep, counterfeit, dead! Arcane roots, black peaks and more! Toilets were awful by the next day but if you picked the right one you'd be fine food was extortionate so I'm glad I brought my own. Hippy shacks and band Merch very decent prices! Met some fab people and will be attending next year for sure

User

I started coming to 2000 trees a couple of years ago with the best of friends in camp kev! This year being my third, it's simply an Amazing festival, it's not just the music but it's the people and the atmosphere created by everyone (including crazy guy with the hat)

I will be looking forward to next year with great anticipation!

User

I <3 2000Trees.

CAMP SCOTLAND!

User

Fucking amazing. Great sound, decent prices for food (plenty of veggie and vegan options) and the layout of the festival is spot on. Defo going to be going next year without a doubt. Possibly one of my favourite independent festivals! Roll on 2k16

User

First time at 2000trees and I loved it . A really great relaxed atmosphere with very friendly staff , security and festival goers . Didn't have to queue to get in, hardly queued for the toilets or the bar. So many bands to see and loved listening to bands that wouldn't be my usual taste. Mosh pits were epic !! The forest stage is beautiful , my kids loved the hammocks. Silent disco was so funny . I'll be back

User

First ever multi-day festival for me, and an extremely awesome, laid-back experience. I would recommend this to anyone; veteran music festival lovers and noobs like me alike. Would like to see more women on stage though, but that's just a very minor personal comment.

User

Fantastic small Festival, some great music and friendly staff, site was kept clean by some hard working litter pickers and I did notice a lot of Festival goers were using the bins rather than dropping it on the floor.

Will definitely be going next year πŸ‘πŸ»

Well done to all staff and organisers 😎

User

An amazing festival. The line up, the staff, the atmosphere, the food/drink, the people- everything about it seemed to run smoothly and for an alt/metal festival it is so chilled out! The Forest Stage is my personal favourite. Can't wait for next year x

User

Absolutely brilliant, just got back today from my first 2000 Trees experience and both my partner and I have decided this will be an annual thing. Amazing atmosphere with great acts and friendly attitude. Best festival I think I have been to so far, really enjoyed the slightly more relaxed vibe although you can easily slip into a wilder day/night without upsetting anyone. Please don't change anything about this festival, it has so much that other bigger festivals miss out on. Genuinely recommend this to anyone thinking of going!!!

User

A few years we found out about this festival. The line-up was really our cup of wodka. This year we made up our minds. Bought our tickets in march, took a plane last wednesday from Belgium to Birmingham and the train to Cheltenham. We had three amazing days, saw a lot of great gigs (a.o one of my all-time favorites McLusky) Only: the quiet disco wasn't as quiet as we hoped for. Flew back yesterday to Belgium with a lot of great memories.

User

A fantastically well run grass roots festival. A great balance of up and coming musicians and established acts. Great food and drink all sourced locally. I can't wait to get back there!

User

5th year this year, continued to be the BEST FESTIVAL IN THE WORLD in my opinion, always evolving and getting better and the lineup this year was just simply outstanding. Only down the road for me but still always feels like you are out in this magical little place in the middle of nowhere. I can only pray that one day my band gets good enough to get a slot there because i adore this place. If you have never been, then i emplore you to go next year, and if you have then you know exactly what im on about. Well done guys, Big Love<3

User

2000 trees is an amazing festival, we love it! My little ones are already counting down to the next one! It's great to be able to include our kids In Something that's a big part of us and show them what real music is! :)
