2515 Ringwood & Fordingbridge Squadron Air Cadets Description
We parade every Tuesday and Friday nights from 19: 10 - 21: 45.
As a Squadron we offer many opportunities such as Flying, Gliding, First aid, Shooting, Flight Suite, Sport, D of E, Annual Camps, Feildcraft, Night Exercises, Official Parades, Fundrais
This is what it is all about. - activities that offer challenge, excitement and adventure and the knowledge you pick up along the way through structured lectures and first-hand experience. Don't worry about being thrown in at the deep end, we will help you all the way through your experience with our well trust staff and NCO's.

Flight Sergeant Baldwin has been continuing his duties with 622 Volunteer Gliding Squadron, and had the opportunity to tour the Royal Navy's latest aircraft carrier.
Today cadets from. 2515 and 2498 (Totton) squadrons, undertook a training course on the Smallbore Cadet Target Rifle, known as the L144A1.
After several lessons they undertook their weapons handling tests, and will be able to undertake their live firing soon.

Squadron closure.
We have taken the decision to close the squadron tonight due to the weather, and the risk to personnel.
We will reopen in Tuesday 5th February.
... Tuesday will also be our Recruitment night, so if you have friends and family interested in joining as staff or cadets, please get them to come down.

Yesterday 12 of our cadets undertook an interest day of Clay Pigeon shooting.

Recruitment & Intake evening Evening
Are you aged 12 -17 and want a new challenge? Come and join us as a cadet!
Maybe you're an adult who has something to give, and want to develop yourself and those around you.
... The evening is designed to show what the Air Cadets has to offer Young People, and to explain what the RAF Air Cadets are.
If you are not sure if the cadets is the right activity for you, why not pop along and have a chat before deciding.
Our activities include: Flying, Gliding, Shooting, Fieldcraft, Survival Training, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Work Experience, Camps, world travel, Qualifications (BTEC, ILM, Coaching, Referee), Sports, Duke of Edinburgh plus so much more...

From the 1st December, 2515 Squadron is taking part in the Waitrose Green Token scheme, where community projects are offered a charitable donation.
So if you are shopping in Ringwood, please help support us and drop your green token in to the slot at the front of the Ringwood store.
A reminder to all that this Friday is the Christmas lights switch on in Fordingbridge Town centre.
This event, along with the associated road closures will cause delays in getting to the squadron. This is especially important for those cadets departing early to undertake the climbing evening, and the cadets assisting with the recruitment and fundraising stands as part of the light switch on.
Local Traffic control measures should be lifted before cadets depart.

Please see MySquadron for details on the Inter-Region Aircraft Recognition Competition this Saturday.
We are looking for cadets to take part in the under 16 and Open Competitions. If we are unable to field a team for each of these, than our Region will not be able to take part.
Please contact the OC ASAP if you can take part.
Continuing our Remembrance Weekend activities, our cadets were in Fordingbridge supporting the Royal British Legion in poppy selling.

I was a cadet here in the late 90’s. It was the making of me! I loved it so much and had so much fun! Wish I could do it all again!!
