325 Preschool

3-2-5 is a well established, parent committee-led pre-school for children aged
2 years and 9 months to 5 years old.

3-2-5 Pre-school Playgroup was established in the 1980’s. We are registered with the Office for
Standards in Education (Ofsted), the Local Education Authority and Pre-school Learning Alliance.
We work closely with the pre-school development worker.

Our Manager, has been involved in the pre-school for several years and works with a team of
dedicated staff, who all hold qualifications recognised by Ofsted and are all trained First Aiders.
We have a maximum of twenty seven children per session per day and as we have five to six staff
per session, we have a higher than required ratio of adults to children.

A committee of parents leads the pre-school and it is important that everyone with a child attending
3-2-5 supports this by getting involved. The committee has a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson,
Secretary and Treasurer. Other parents are members of the committee. The names of all the
committee members, meeting minutes and details of forthcoming meetings are all displayed on the
parent’s notice board, which is located in the community centre foyer. We hold an Annual General
Meeting (AGM), where we need as many parents to attend as possible.
