424 City Of Southampton Squadron Air Cadets

Yesterday a number of Air Cadets, at home or perhaps in the midst of annual camps or summer activities, received their GCSE results! We hope everyone walked away smiling - always remember that you’re part of something bigger and your efforts in the cadets as well as academically are important and valuable. All the best!

The cadets had fun tonight getting involved with some STEM based activities including making structures with spaghetti and marshmallows.

And next in a run of 2018 Summer Camp opportunities.... Cadet Yau is arriving at RAF Syerston for the National Aerospace Camp!

We’re all supremely envious of Cadet Corporals Crawley and Weaver who set off for their week long oversea camp to Sennelager today! Hope they have an amazing week... and take lots of photos to supplement their bragging rights when they get home!

Good luck to all the Air Cadets collecting their A-Level results today! Remember whatever happens you’re a valuable member of one of the best organisations in the country and you should all be proud of your achievements.

Whilst some of our lucky cadets are on Annual camp at RAF Valley this week, we spent the parade night focusing on leadership skills and what it means to be a leader.
Autocratic, consultative, democratic... where do you sit on the scale? And can you adapt your style for different situations?
