We have now achieved the Approved Workshop Scheme or AWS. This now enables us to carry out repairs and habitation checks on all motorhomes. We have the capability in our fixed workshop for minor and major repairs including warranty work on Dometic, Alde, Truma and Thetford. We can also carry out engine service mots and repairs to all make and models. So please call to make any enquiries.

Motorhomes Hire Success Heralds Fleet Investment
Abacus, the Ferndown and Andover vehicle hire specialist, has announced a £850,000 investment to their Motorhome hire fleet with 19 new vehicles being added to the rental fleet for 2018. This is to replace existing models that have now reached over 2 years old. Now in its 12th year that the company have been renting motorhomes they have experienced an increase in sales exceeding 10%. Jon Clayton, Manager of the Abacu...s motorhome division, said that whilst they would expect year on year growth due to ongoing interest in motorhome holidays in spring and summer.
“The winter hire demand has seen a spike in Christmas bookings with the motorhomes being either used as an overflow for family accommodation or families seeking an alternative festive period in the UK and Europe,” said Jon Clayton. ”The new Motorhome fleet arriving in March range will include 2-6 berth vehicles and from 2 major manufactures Bailey and Adria and take the fleet size to 50.
Forward bookings have already started for events including Goodwood Festival of Speed, F1, and other festivals proving that demand will continue in 2018. This is also aided by poor exchange rates encouraging staycation based holidays. Prices have also been frozen from last year adding to the growth in business. Some motorhomes are also available for dog owners to hire.

Our 2018 line up is now complete. We have added 2 new models to the fleet making it 11 different model types and a total of 50 Motorhomes on the fleet ranging from 2 to 6+1 berth. The new models will be the Adria A75 DP. This model is a direct replacement for the previous model the A49 which is still on a 3500kg chassis so can be driven on a standard car licence. The other new model is the Bailey Autograph 79-6. This is to run along side the Approach 765. We have also added more of the Bailey Autograph 75-4 and late this season we added the Swift Escape 695 which is low-line 3500kg chassis rear bunk Motorhome. All of the new Motorhomes will be on the website soon so if you require any info on these or existing models then please get in touch.

I rang them plently from France with endless questions which they answered with such patience! We rented a Bailey 754 for 2 weeks to tour France with our 2 children. The transfer from Heathrow with Tim was seamless,professional and with enthusiasm. John and the gentleman with the beard were fantastic, the motorhome was spotless! What a brilliant company we will be renting again nd recommending you. Thank you for making our first motorhome experience a perfect one.
