Our hire dept has been busy at Bestival this weekend. A dry hire of a recording studio into a tent bang in the middle of the festival for Distiller TV's video shoot. We loved it! Immensely helpful staff and the teenagers really enjoyed it. I'm not very musical but found it fascinating myself. Quite a cool little (basic) cafe that was reasonably priced too!

Totally recommend these guys, honest and genuine advice, patience and lots of guidance! Very knowledgeable and didn’t try to persuade us to spend more than needed!

Only ever used mail order but its always been top notch - and yesterday morning I ordered a Tascam DR 40 (at the best price I found online) and it arrived here this morning, less than 24 hours later. Top service and very pleased with that and the recorder. Always my first port of call for new gear (even if I don't buy new gear too often!).

I love this place. Been a couple of times now and the staff are really helpfull and knowledgeable. I bought a Fender Telecaster this visit and it was a pleasure right from the start. I emailed customer service to make sure they has the one I wanted in stock and was dealt with by Richard Malpass who couldn't have done more to help (thanks Richard). The guys in the tech department made sure it was all set up and ready to rock and I was able to try her out first and put the biggest grin on my face.

I have been shopping here for a few years now even though I'm from Bristol I visit several times a year. Today I purchased another guitar from here and can say the quality of service is consistent.

Lee Williams helped me choose a beautiful Gretsch guitar. Nothing was too much trouble as I fleeted between guitars and my wife and I bombarded Lee with lots of questions which were all answered with a smile. A total enjoyable experience. I can't recommend this shop enough. It's my favourite and the experience is first class.

Even though I’ve played for a number of years I don’t know everything and at absolute I don’t feel foolish to ask as the staff don’t make you feel foolish for asking.

Also your treated well when making small purchases not just when spending big sums of money on top range gear.

As far as a member of staff standing out I’m sure there all good but Lee has served and given advice on a few occasions very helpful good advice no hard sell doesn’t talk down to you on what you don’t know and gives a strong impression that he wants you to be happy with your purchase and buy what’s right for you.

Would recommend.

I live a fair distance from the shop and tend to buy locally but I’m never disappointed when I make the trip over to this store, makes you fell like a kid in a candy store, just so much stock

Fantastic service! I wanted to thank STEVE PHILPS for my first mixing lesson on June 1st this year. As a complete beginner i was a little nervous, but need not have been. One of the most enjoyable 2 hours I have ever spent. Excellent tuition and a really relaxed manner that instantly puts you at ease. Great fun, equipment and surroundings. I rarely recommend but would have no hesitation recommending both Steve and Absolute Music. Thanks again. Jon PS Please feel free to use these words on any media platform.

On the odd occasion when a price match hasn't been possible I have spent more because I know I will be looked after by Absolute.
