Aerodynamic Yoga Description
The principles of Aerodynamic Yoga centre around energy efficiency in movement and thought; the attitude behind the action. We study ways that we can use gravity, (the original down force), to enhance postures by determining where is the best position for our centre of gravity in the posture. We study how we can activate down force and increase our stability in the posture and examine how to reduce drag by using the challenges that the postures produce and observing the reactions and responses they provoke (drag). Drag can exist in the physical and mental realms and by recognising when we have an inefficient response in terms of energy we can endeavour to rectify our reaction through our experience on the yoga mat.
Aerodynamic Yoga was established as a Trademark in January 2013.
