We’ve been asked a few times recently if the rumours are true and unfortunately for some (possibly fortunately for others) they are.
Amici @ Barmston is up for sale and looking for new Amici’s to carry on the journey.
I’ve honestly had a truly fantastic time over the pass eight years, I’ve had the benefit of working with the best team and met some wonderful guest. Many whom have become not just regular customers but people I would call friends.
... But unfortunately nothing can stay the same forever. Having stewed over the idea for a while I now think the time has come for me to follow other ambitions and for someone to give the restaurant a new outlook to move it on. Hopefully making it bigger and better then ever before.
I will keep you all informed of any progress and should it have not sold by the end of my contractual agreement in September I will be taking it off the market. I’m not in any rush to sell and some could say I’m just testing the waters, so our guests have no worries about a lapse in standards etc. We’ll still be trying as hard as ever before.
Hopefully I’ll get to see each and everyone of you in person but if I’m not around the next time you visit. I’d like to thank every single one of you for your love and support over the years. You’ve helped turn our little Italian into the lovely little place it is today, and I couldn’t of done it without you all (hmmm that’s kinda obvious isn’t it 🤦🏻‍♂️).

We are officially the top rated exclusive Italian restaurant in the whole of the East Riding of Yorkshire, according to trip advisor ratings.
We might not be the biggest, the busiest or be in the most accessible location, but apparently we are the BEST ... and 22nd best overall, not bad out of over 1200 🤩🤩🤩.
... We genuinely love each and everyone of you and thank you all for your support. Small business is very difficult, it’s even harder in such a remote location.
However with your help we are succeeding, help us share our achievement and hopefully you’ll make it a little easier 🥰🥰

What a place!!! It looks not so good on the out side but when you go in its a real warm smart looking restaurant with caring staff, now the food....... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! we have an holiday home at Barmston Beach and this is a must every time we go its so relaxing in there but book as it's always full quite understandable too....

What a lovely evening I have had here tonight, I have visited before and loved it,now after the renovations it is much better very well laid out and the menu looks very good.

I had the Rib eye with a pepper sauce it was superb and the house Pinot lovely . I'm looking forward to another visit x

Went to this place for a family meal, what can I say, we all ordered different mains and sweets, each one was very tasty, well presented and great value, will definitely be visiting again.

Went last night and wish I'd been years ago! What a fabulous little hideaway. We had the special pizza and the carbonara, both were amazing. Great service and great food. We will be back again!

Visited yesterday evening as a party of 6, from entering to leaving there was nothing to fault.

Saw this place a few years ago, and I love � Italian Food, this tonight was awesome (wine was very nice too) sleep now even though it's only 10pm that's what good food does for you�

Omg this place is a little hidden gem!!! What a fantastic meal we had.

Just had lunch, fabulous pizza - even better as they were on lunchtime special! Lovely friendly staff, even chef popped his head out to check everything was OK, you don't get that in most restaurants.



If you want good food, freshly prepared to order, this is the spot. It wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last. Well done Amici, long may you continue.

Had a wonderful meal tonight all freshly made and gluten free. Staff very friendly and very helpful. I even got a lemon cheesecake for pudding again gluten free. Would recommend. X

Had a takeaway for the second time and again the food was excellent. Freshly made and very satisfying. My wife doesn't like tomatoes so they made her a pizza and used garlic instead of the usual tomato base. Will definitely call again next time we are here.

Had a lovely meal last night. Ian and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They were not phased when asked to cater for a vegan diet with short notice. Ian even offered to make us a vegan brownie - which is such a treat compared to the usual restaurant offer of a fruit salad! Thanks, when we return we will make sure we are hungrier and will give more notice so we can take up your offer or a 3 course meal :)

Had a fabulous family meal at this little gem of a place.rissotto,Calzone and steak were all cooked to perfection.our selection of starters were equally satisfying..will def return when next in barmston.

Amichi is a very remote Italian restaurant located off the main road at barmston. It has a lovely warm atmosphere and offers a wide menu. It made our last night of our holiday before heading back home the following day very relaxing and enjoyable. They are only open Thurs Fri sat sun but this is obviously because of the remoteness. I will definately be visiting again soon.

Amazing food, will definitely be calling again, chef came out to check everything OK, staff are very attentive. Thank you it was the best.

We had to waite 45 minutes for our meal but that was due to the fact that we (2 of us) had followed a large party in, combined with the fact that instead of 2 head chefs there was only one. Nevertheless the meal was excellent as usual. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We didn't mind at all. The 4 stars this one time is just because of the waite something we have never had in the past. Otherwise it would be 5 stars all the way
