I am always up for trying something new and this is possibly the most therapeutic and enjoyable thing. I spent my Sunday playing with alcohol inks and watching the magic happen. What I love is that you never really know what colours or shapes you will make. I was pretty happy with how my first piece came out! How amazing is this and I only used primary colour inks! Thank you @katehayward4 for introducing me to this beautiful new craft! It’s safe to say I’m hooked.

I forget how lucky I am to live so close to the Jurassic coast and really should go more often. It was a beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I have very much blown the cobwebs away 🌊

New week and new challenges... I really want to start using @procreate to draw, as well as hand lettering. I’m slowly getting used to all the different brushes and I’m finding it extremely therapeutic to just sit and doodle! I think my favourite is the bottom left but I can’t decide? 🐻

I’ve been practising my floral drawings as I was asked to produce a card with some on... I’m trying to use all the different brushes on Procreate as I’m pretty good at sticking to a certain few and not branching out. I’m pretty happy with how it’s turned out! I’m also pretty happy that it’s Friday tomorrow. 🙌🏼

After seeing @sophieprints_ post about comparing yourself to others on Instagram it reminded me about how much I look at other people’s social media and their followers and likes and compare it to mine. I do it with both my personal and business accounts and I find myself getting really down and my self esteem takes a nosedive. I have to put my phone down and remind myself that it’s not real life and actually means jack shit. I am proud of every like I get whether it’s 10 or 50 and the most important people in my life are following me and supporting me all the way. I’m hoping that this reminds people to stop comparing themselves and not to worry about your status, followers or likes. As long as people support you and make you feel happy then that’s all that matters. 💗
