Reviews
This is the show garden that we build for Hampshire Garden materials of Mayles Lane Wickham. We constructed this for Mayfield nurseries in Southampton. Go and pay Malcolm and Racheal a visit, all charity based and great quality plants!!
These are just a few of the gardens we have done this summer but will be adding more soon!!
Grey indian sandstone, edged in black limestone cobbles with artificial grass, the client pretty much did there own design and the end result was fantastic!!
Using an existing circle in the garden which was previously a green house base, we interlocked a new circle edged in granite cobbles, added artificial grass and self binding path gravel, the work took five days and totally transformed the garden.
We got a great review from client and 10 out of ten on check a trade
Yellow Balau hardwood decking, article grass and yellow limestone paving. We edged the limestone in dark granite cobbles which really does highlight the colours in the paving.
A simple design, Synthetic decking and artificial grass makes for a wonderful makeover.
Re- turfed the back garden and levelled some area. Tidiness: 10 Reliability: 10 Average: 10 Courtesy: 10 Workmanship: 10 Andamar Landscapes did a fantastic job, first clearing the rear garden area then level out the area and lay some stepping stones and then lay the new turf. Iain was great, and very helpful.

Today Solent Mind launched their Emergency Forget Me Not Appeal. Mayfield Nurseries Dementia Gardening Group will close at the end of February unless they are able to raise £10,000. It offers hope to people with dementia and their carers, helping them cope with the realities of living with dementia, and their fears. Through the regular exercise, focus and community the group provides, dramatic improvements have been seen in people’s lives. It is one a handful of specialist gr...oups for people in Southampton with dementia, and is run by volunteers and one expert paid staff member. Here’s just one story of how the group has helped: David was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, a form of Dementia when he was just 52. Debbie, his wife said: “His diagnosis was a big blow to us. The group has been a godsend to us and we haven’t looked back since. If he could go 5 days a week, he would.” With the support of volunteers, David does different things every week, from potting plants up, to making things for sale in the garden centre. Over Christmas he was helped with the support of volunteers to construct a bird table as a gift to his wife. Debbie says: “He always comes home with new stories of things they have done, people he has met, conversations he has had. It’s different company to him, he has laughs with everyone, and even customers have got to know him. These people do an amazing job. They are always there for a chat, advice and support. It can be hard work, but it is all done with the love they have for helping the sufferers and their families.” Please support this appeal by sharing with friends, family and staff outside of Solent Mind, and on social media. If you’re interested in fundraising for this appeal please do get in touch.

Winter tip for your veg garden
Dig a trench where you will be growing your beans next year, fill it with compostable kitchen waste and cover with soil again. This will rot down and improve the growing conditions for your beans. (do not use cooked food)
A courtyard garden in the New Forest, Marshalls cobbles and traditional edgings with a bull nosed black limestone step. The bespoke fencing panels were also supplied, installed and pained by us. The client wanted a very traditional finish so the cobbles were not pointed in, we used a fine, coloured gravel.
Andamar would like to wish all our customers and friends a very happy christmas and a wonderful 2016
