We can now announce that Animate have been invited to perform at the Mayflower 400 Commemorative International Special Olympic Games opening ceremony in April.

Animate evolve is a focused performance company for adults with and without disabilities. We will be holding open group auditions for our summer touring production looking for anyone able to commit to regular Monday evening rehearsals from February, and weekend and evening performances May - August.

Happy New Year to all!! Unfortunately the festive period is over and it’s time to get back to work. Big plans for productions for BOTH companies coming up this year so just a reminder of the following start dates:-

Thank you to everyone who attended Winter Ball tonight. It was a wonderful evening. We’ll post the photo booth pictures and let you know how much we raised on the raffle in the next few days. A huge thanks to our volunteer team for all their hard work.

Omnium Radio will be broadcasting Animate’s upcoming radio play in just a few weeks as part of the Aiken Hour.

The Autumn/Winter season is off with a bang. Lots of laughter this morning with the first Animate Effect session of the season.
Don’t forget, next week we start a 6 week block of workshops looking at sound effects for radio culminating in the recording of a radio play to be broadcast by Omnium Radio. Friday mornings, £5 per week, 11am - 12:30, Devonport Welcome Hall. Come join us.

We are pleased to announce our associate artist Hugh Maylon's upcoming tour ‘You, Me and My Voice.' It is going to be an incredible production so make sure to follow ymmv on all social media! @ Plymouth

Access Theatre are looking for feedback about their show ‘Wild’. If anyone saw it yesterday with us and would like to offer feedback please either comment here or send us a message. We’ll collate it all together and pass it back to them. They will be doing the same for us. Thank you.

Well, that’s all folks! Midsummer is officially done. A big thank you and well done to the huge list of people who made it happen. We can confirm that over the 2 performances the show was seen by more than 120 people! That’s the largest audience Animate have ever reached.
