So so so helpful! I had to buy a stroller in an emergency after my old one was stolen and the staff were amazing! They helped me get it all set up and ready to go and were so friendly. I was quite obviously flustered and suffering a serious case of scatter brain as I chased my toddler around and they were fab! Absolute life savers!

I'd like to say thank you to the lovely manager at west quay today. He could see I was distressed and bent over backwards to help me....thank you for making my horrible day so much better....I even cracked a smile :) x

Took to long to get my item and it looked like the staff didn't know what to do. I saw staff just walking around the back doing nothing so don't go to West Quay Southampton store.

I just bought a microwave. I was on my own, visibly pregnant and had a toddler in tow. No one offered to carry the heavy microwave out to my car for me, despite it not being very busy. I struggled to get my toddler out of the shop with no hands to hold his, I then had to cross the road clutching the microwave and trying to herd him towards the car. Luckily a very kind gentleman who had seen me struggling came to my aid. Yes I probably should have asked for help but I also think that assistance should have been offered as standard. Poor effort Argos.

Appalling service , the staff are unsure of the offers management no where to be found and after spending £300 pound wanted to charge me for carrier bags !

Never have I EVER received such poor customer service from a shop!



Trying to exchange a pair or pillows, the first Argos I went to was very helpful in the city centre but didn’t have them in stock and directed me to the branch at the retail park. When I was being served at customer services I explained that one of the pillows was faulty so I wanted to exchange them for another pair but wanted to check them before it happened. I was given a slip to view them and sent to the collection point where I waited 10 minutes for my order number to send me to the collection point only to be waiting another 5 minutes for someone to turn up only to find that they hadn’t come down yet and had to wait 5 more minutes, when I finally got the pillows I had to go back to the first till again to check them but the cashier had gone, asked Nick if he I could view the other pair as these were also fault only to be told that the other customers had been waiting longer and I had to go to the BACK OF THE QUE!!! After finally getting served I then had to go back to collection point to get them after 10 minutes of waiting I had to explain myself again that I was going to open and view pillows to make sure they were ok! Then loan behold I had to go back to the back of the cue and wait even longer to be able to exchange a FAULTY PRODUCT!!! Total wait time 1 hour 14 minutes!!!



Such very very bad customer service making me the customer do all the running around to exchange a faulty product I highly recommend avoiding the harbour parade retail park Argos in Southampton.

Had the staff blame me for a mp3 player not working it was missing the driver and upon returning it I had to contact trade standers for a replacement if my system is to blame may be it all laptops from argos have a fault this store has really gone down hill never shopping with argos ever again.

DOES ANYONE ANSWER THE FREAKIN PHONE IN THIS SHOP? Seriously. I've been ringing the Phone off the hook for about 5 minutes now. Can none of you hear it or something?! And this was after it took me 3 minutes to navigate the shitty automated menu. "Press 1 for enquiries about reserved items"... Unless you actually have a question, because this is Purely to reserve an item and not actually about inquiries into reserved items.



This also took me a couple of minutes to write and still no one has answered the fucking phone.
