We’ve just returned from a weeks stay in one of their Garden terrace houses. The house was spotless, despite being a dog friendly accommodation. This was our second visit to Atlantic Reach, and it won’t be our last. The food in the Manor House and the Cafe is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff and the site is very dog friendly. Amazing place, we will definitely be back with Bertie next year. Thank you x

User

We stayed at Atlantic Reach for a week and absolutely loved it! Great location near Newquay town. Food in the restaurant and cafe is amazing and staff are extremely friendly. We stayed in the Garden Terrace which was perfect for us with our 2 year old. We didn't want to leave and we will definitely stay again.

User

We had a birthday party for our little girl today & it was brilliant. We booked face painting too. Lee kept the kids entertained with music & games. The party room was really big & bright. Would certainly recommend. Thank you!

User

Only used jungle jacks soft play area but that's nice my little one enjoys it and for £1.50 you can't beat it. Need a locals card I think though. Coffee and cake is nice from the cafe too and you can take that upstairs into the play area .

User

Just got back from a week staying in a 4 bed contemporary cottage... Loved it.... The site was brilliant for our 2and half year old.... We went swimming most days... The only frustration was the pool is closed when private swimming classes are being held... The accommodation was great.. Would have benefit from black out blinds/curtains possibly due to glorious sunshine blasting through the window at 5. 30!!... Food was great in the Manor house. We ate there a couple of times during our stay and the staff were more than accommodating.

Would happily book again and location was great for us... A very happy enjoyable holiday wherr many memories were made

User

I love Atlantic Reach! The gym schedules fit perfectly into my day to day life. The fact that the gym opens at 6.30am is amazing as it means I can train before work, even when the mornings are still cold and dark! Can't recommend it enough.

User

Had a great evening that on the hulls evening.thanks Josh and John for looking after me.at the cafe and the manor.such great guys.forgot to say this is Steve's wife sending message on his phone.i am Angel.

User

Great spot for a family holiday in Cornwall. Friendly staff, fantastic cakes in the cafe, fun bar and family entertainment, great indoor and outdoor pools and play area. We've been a few times now and have always enjoyed it!

User

Great facilities and there's always something on. The food is great, big portions and tasty, and the spa always has a bargain deal!

User

Big chuck up to the gym crew who volunteered at Tough Mudder at the weekend. Smashed it on Water Station 2 and Arctic Enema! 'saving the planet one cup at a time' will soon be on a TM sign, all thanks to you!

User

We have just come back from a week in a 2 bed villa during the May half term break. We had a fantastic time and made good use of all the facilities on site. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed in a privately rented villa, so can’t really comment on the accommodation as we didn’t rent directly from Atlantic Reach.

Atlantic Reach site pros:

- lots of facilities, very good for young children most of which are free/included in rental. Activities that are charged for are cheap, e.g. £3 for some kids club activities, but most were free. Our children are 7 and 2 (nearly 3) and had a great time

- compact site

- fantastic entertainment team. The entertainment was one of the highlights of the holiday. There was always something on that we could take our children to and the evening entertainment was good, especially the Blues Brothers. The entertainment team were very friendly and helpful. They encouraged everyone to take part, but without being pushy or over the top. Very talented bunch. Lee was especially helpful and good with the kids.

- food at Manor was fairly decent and reasonable, if a bit slow

- nice attractive site - lots of gardens, old Manor House (the Manor pub) and attractive housing (most of it anyway)

- easy to get to, just off A road. Close to beach and big supermarkets (in car). Well located for exploring rest of Cornwall, although we did not find this necessary as there was so much to do on site

Atlantic Reach site cons:

- awkward and insufficient amount of parking near to accommodation - a short walk is fine, but not with tonnes of luggage!

- facilities are great, but a little dated and need a bit of TLC/repaint.

- the outdoor playground is dated and needs revamping

-swimming pool changing rooms are communal and very hot and damp. There are also no lockers.

User

We had a lovely week staying in a villa just off the main car park. Very quiet as kids all still at school. Outdoor pool was glorious although cold was refreshing in the heat. Didn't get time to use the spa or gym sadly but they looked clean and perfect

Our villa was really clean and had everything you needed. However there were no windows just doors so hard to prop open on a really hot night. Staff were so helpful and friendly and just made it feel like a home

The bar was great and the food okay. Really expensive prices for what it was. Complained on the first night as chicken overcooked and chicken curry not prawn curry served. This was rectified quickly after a message sent. The drinks are really expensive so we ended up staying in the villa most nights sadly. The only other negative was the pillows. Asked for some non flat ones and none ever appeared. I know you can't change the mattresses as they are also hard but a softer pillow might help as barely slept all week.

But on the whole we had a lovely time and would recommend to friends

User

Just spent 4 nights in a 4 bed cottage, kids loved it, plenty of room, great entertainment and things for the kids to do, restaurant and bar great, Staff very friendly very near to some lovely beaches, great stay❤️

User

This is the third time we have stayed at this resort and have always had lovely accommodation. The cafe and indoor play area is great.

Am disappointed with the condition of the outdoor play equipment, which clearly needs updating and was in same condition last year.

The indoor swimming pool is good when you are allowed to use it. Unfortunately, as we are staying in a private villa the staff will not allow us to pay to use the swimming pool, which seems a shame and a wasted opportunity in the current financial climate. It wasn't even busy.

User

Booked a 4 bed contemporary cottage and loved it. Although the king size bed in the en suite room was abominable. Totally unable to sleep on it. We felt like we were sleeping in 2 holes and it clanged every time we moved. Needs sorting in no. 16. Also, the spa area was not what we expected according to the media on it. It is a garden hot tub in a corridor, not particularly relaxing or pleasant and the sauna is on a timer so is cold every time you enter and you need to crouch down and turn it on and wait for the heat. Very disappointing. I would stay again, not bother with the spa area, And would definately complain about the bed if it was as bad.

User

Really unimpressed!!!!!!! Will not return

Booked a four bed contemporary at Atlantic and on the booking was a hot tub and we advised that there was a dog!!! I even rang hoseasons and Atlantic reach regarding this...... turned up this evening with teenage girls excited to use hot tub..... guess what.... NO HOT TUB!!! Contacted reception to be told no hot tub properties available especially because we had a dog, however the booking was arranged with a hot tub and pet !!!!

Annoyed to say the least ....

Then agree to contact hoseasons Monday .. unpacking and realise no towels (we had these last time we came) oh sorry Mrs sage we don't provide towels ( unless it's a property with a hot tub) ....

oh and to top it off can't even b bothered to report it yet heating is crap!!!! Doesn't work downstairs.

I will be taking this further on Monday as totally rubbish service this time round & response from the lady manager was unacceptable ( knowing no towels in the property I even requested possibility of having towels from the gym and she just was not interested)!!!!!!!

User

Just wrecked my 6 and 9 year olds holiday by telling them they can not go in the swimming pool. They are now both in tears . Have stayed here 3 times now and have always been aloud to use the pool we have always enjoyed our stay at the holiday park. We will never be using this as a holiday destination again .

User

Awful scruffy looking park. Looks like you are driving onto a council estate as you head in. Management do not allow private owners guests to use the facilities they are that childish and spiteful, and most of the properties are privately owned. Park is currently being ran in to the ground by current management.

User

After bringing my children to the soft play we decided to order some food. When the burger meal arrived after taking a few bites it was completely raw and cold in the middle. After informing staff they said they would cook another. It was returned literally two minutes later having been just reheated on the grill! So the burger arrived with a few bites out of it. Being the same burger just in a fresh bun with cold bacon and cheese. Is this really hygienic when other people's food is being cooked alongside an item that has already been partly eaten? Unbelievably the chef confirmed this is what happened to the burger and did not seem phased by it at all! Very disappointed for a 5 star food hygiene rated establishment.
