I started Pilates as I was doing cycling & gym work but kept getting injuries & knew I could do with stronger core after having babies. Beth’s sessions were great - she made sure I was doing everything right and targeted the areas I needed most help & I definitely saw an improvement as well as less injuries as I became more bodily aware �
I have been doing Pilates withBeth since she started up at wicklea and I would recommend her classes over and over.
On occasion I do a same day double session and she is so accommodating to all levels of fitness.
I stand all day on my feet and it takes a toll on my back, posture, well basically my hole body so Beth’s class puts it on the right track.
If you not sure, give her a shout and do a drop in. You will not be sorry. Hard getting your head around it at first but definitely worth it.

I have been attending Beth’s Pilates class in Brislington for 10 months. Following a c-section birth it has helped my core so much. Beth’s teaching style is very clear and at a good pace. I highly recommend anyone thinking of joining to give it a go whatever level you are. ��
I found Beth's class after being recommended to start Pilates due to getting lower back pain and a winged shoulder blade. Beth is a fantastic teacher who breaks down each move clearly and explains how it works/ helps that part of your body which I found super helpful. Just after a few weeks I found a huge difference in my flexibility and core strength, plus the pain in my back shoulders is now virtually non-existent. I also got a couple of my friends involved too! Don't be afraid to give it a go, I couldn't recommend her class enough!
I decided to start pilates as I spend a lot of the working week at a desk & was getting regular headaches, back ache and tension in my shoulders. I didn’t realise at the time how bad my posture was being affected by it. I wasn't sure if Pilates could help much, but I can honestly say that since starting pilates I feel so better and I've noticed my posture is visibly better in just a couple of months. Beth really knows her stuff & explains what each exercise will do which I found motivational. I’m now a firm fan of pilates �
Having never done pilates before I was pretty worried but Beth was brilliant. She explains everything and demonstrates clearly. She also takes into account if anyone has specific problems eg hip issues and adjusts each relevant exercise for each individual. Highly recommend Beth's classes
