The park may be closed, but we've been working very hard indeed!! Just started planting 2,000 hedge whips to create a natural boundary between pitches. They're all native species to support the wildlife in our park.

Today our gates closed for the end of the 2018 season. What a season it has been. We opened in blizzards then had floods followed by the hottest summer we have known and finally a stunning Autumn. We would like to thank all of our wonderful customer that shared some part of it with us, it really has been fantastic and we hope to see many of you return in 2019. Finally thank you to our awesome team who have worked so hard to make this year run so well, they are all back next year after a well earned rest when we kick off again in March. Thank you all for a truly special year.

As we get ready to close for the 4 winter months we would like to thank our customers for a fantastic season. We have now just set up the bookings page on our website for anyone wanting to secure a pitch or a glamping pod for the 2019 season. These are currently guaranteed at this years price. We are very proud to be featured in the prestigious BH&HPA industry magazine this month regarding our radio interview on BBC Solent. Back of Beyond is becoming a known and respected park not only amongst our growing customers but also our peers.

1st day of autumn today. The park leaves are starting to turn golden and it’s looking beautiful. The forward weather forecast looks great and we are still open for the next 6 weeks for a last minute stay. Come and enjoy the south coast in the final sunshine weeks. Winter is coming!

We had a fabulous time our pod kingfisher was so cosy and had everything we needed in it .. love the touch of washing up liquid and tea and coffee and milk being in there for us .. we felt very relaxed and will definitely be returning! Thank you

We arrived at Back of Beyond last Thursday to spend four nights over Easter. We were greeted by such friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble. It was such a shame that the weather was so bad, as the team had worked so hard to ensure that the site was looking its best. The toilet/shower blocks were immaculate and I loved seeing the vases of flowers and complimentary soap and hand lotion. The site itself is so peaceful and I can’t wait to return in the summer to see it in the sunshine. Thank you to the warden who towed us off our pitch at the end of our stay, due to the heavy rain. PS I am now a convert to Purbeck ice cream! Thank you once again for our stay at your fabulous site. Nick and Nicola

This touring camp is absolutely marvellous! They’ve got all the facilities that you need, from clean toilets, laundry and washing area, a food shop within the camp, and massive area to camp, relax and enjoy nature. We will definitely go back here, and we highly recommend it to all campers.

Stayed here for a week running up to Easter.Fantastic campsite, extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially the couple from Sheffield (sorry I’m hopeless with names) who couldn’t do enough for us. Quiet, well laid out with friendly staff. Modern and spotlessly clean toilet blocks. Loads of nice woodland walks surrounding the site. Even though it’s secluded access to the A31 and supermarkets is only a stones throw away.

My wife and I have just come home from BoB. We spent 16 nights there and it flew past wayyyyyyy to quickly. A beautiful site with excellent facilities. The pitches are a really good size and access is good. Not that far from a major road but you really could be in the Back of Beyond, it's that peaceful. The staff were absolutely superb, I really can't express how good they were. Nothing was too much trouble and if there was a problem, it was sorted straight away. They kept the park spotless and the facilities were cleaned to a high standard everyday, which can't have been to easy in that hot weather we've just had. When you arrive on site, they take you round and show you where everything is and then they take you to your pitch. Not just given a map and left to it like some sites. Lovely big area for walking your dogs, they can go running thru trees and bushes to their hearts content and the whole area is fenced, so safety is great. I'm sure I've missed more than I've said but I can't recommend this site enough. It's definitely at the top of my list. Many thanks to everyone at the Back of Beyond touring and camping park. 5 stars just ain't enough.

We upgraded to the Beach Luxury Yurt and couldn’t have chosen a nicer place for a romantic getaway.



The site staff were really friendly and gave us the best welcome. The yurt was cosy and every little detail had be thought about.



We went exploring from here into Swanage and Bournemouth which were both easy to get to and not too far from the site.



I would definitely recommend Back of Beyond �� Can’t wait to go back!

My husband, myself and our dog just got back from 4 nights at BoB staying in the very comfortable and well equipped otter glamping pod. We had the most fantastic time, very friendly and helpful staff, clean site and excellant facilities, lots to do and see in the local area. Highly recommend, can't wait to return 😊

My husband and I came for 2 nights last week which had been a gift from my Dad. We staying in the magpie pod and we were pleasantly surprised. The bed was super comfy, there was a kettle and some utensils. Even a hanger for us to hang our clothes. The outside space was lovely with a large decking, umbrella for shade (we didn’t use it but would be great for summer) and a large gas stove with gas provided.

There is a large number of local facilities including pubs, fast food restaurants, cute little towns and a Lidl. In the community hut there is loads of info about what to do in the area and menus. I also understand that several takeaways would deliver to site. The site itself is beautiful. Which plenty of areas to explore.

The communal facilities were of a high standard and were always clean. Only downside was the automatic lights, which I totally get are great to save energy. However wasn’t so helpful when they went off whilst I was in the shower at about 8:30pm. This made me very nervous as I am nearly 4 months pregnant. Luckily I had a good torch and someone came in shortly after. When we mentioned this to reception they apologised and said that they would get a maintenance guy to have a look at extending the time frame that the lights would go off. I have always felt in customer service that as long as an apology is made and a suggestion is made to rectify the situation then that’s great. It definitely wouldn’t put me off coming again. However this is not possible for us as it’s an adult only site (which we loved and think is a fab idea) so all we can do is highly recommend the site and spread the word.

Love love love! We had such a lovely time glamping in the Squirrel lodge! It was just lovely. The toilet facilities where lovely and clean at all times and nice and close to the glamping site! We had rain on one night but it was nice and cosy in the cabin. Definitely doesn't have to be fair weather to enjoy! But obviously it helps! The staff were very friendly and we loved the attention to detail with the little Squirrel mugs and Teddy on the bed. Very sweet. The lakes are gorgeous and a beautiful place to sit and watch the sun go down. Really couldn't have asked for better and at such a brilliant price! Would recommend highly and we will absolutely be back again! �

Just returned from a two night stay in the Squirrel cabin. Really enjoyed our stay. Site is very quiet. We took our puppy and the dog walking area is fantastic. Cabin was very clean with plenty of room to relax on the decking. No hesitation giving a 5* - we’re already planning our next stay �

Had a brilliant weekend, thank you so much! Pizza Friday evening, and fish n chips Saturday! Our dog loved exploring the area, and didn't mind being showered in the dog shower after being to the sea side! Friendly staff. Showers and toilets always clean.........will be back soon! We will try out the dog friendly pod next time :-) Thank you again.

Had 2 of the most peaceful and tranquil nights. The park is very well maintained. The facilities were immaculate over our 2 night stay there. Only downside is the polished floors in the lodges, a wee bit slippy if in your socks but other than that not a negative thing to say. Will definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later. Well worth the visit, thank you very much �

From the moment we arrived we knew this place was going to be amazing. Never been to adult only before. We have always camped with our children. We were greeted by a very lovely lady who showed us all around the site and gave us a great pitch. Showers were always immaculate as were all the other facilities. Doggy wash is a great idea. Very peaceful site. Great location. Security is good. Will definitely be going back.

Back of Beyond is an excellent campsite. It is very well set up and organised. Lovely clean shower and toilet block, excellent camping area in the shelter of trees, friendly helpful staff and well laid out campervan and caravan area as well as an area for clamping. And it's very peaceful and quiet in lovely surroundings and no kids running and shouting anywhere because it's for adults only. I will most definitely be going back there and would highly recommend this site to anyone, as long as they don't won't kids about.

Absolutely lovely adult only park.We had a very peacefull few day days with our dog coco in a lodge.Cant recommend enough .Brilliant for doggies.Very freindly wardens on site.Facilities very clean (even a dog wash room )Which came in very handy.Would definatley stay again

Absolutely amazing couple of days. Staff were so so friendly and even wished me a happy birthday. Lots to do around the site, but it’s still so out the way- no noise whatsoever, loved the fact it’s adults only. We had the woodpecker pod and it was furnished much more than I expected, it was lovely. Already planning our second visit �- only downside was the bed slats moved out of place just from laying down so we had to keep fixing it, if you’re petite it shouldn’t be a problem though!

Absolutely lovely adult only park.We had a very peacefull few day days with our dog coco in a lodge.Cant recommend enough .Brilliant for doggies.Very freindly wardens on site.Facilities very clean (even a dog wash room )Which came in very handy.Would definatley stay again

Absolutely amazing couple of days. Staff were so so friendly and even wished me a happy birthday. Lots to do around the site, but it’s still so out the way- no noise whatsoever, loved the fact it’s adults only. We had the woodpecker pod and it was furnished much more than I expected, it was lovely. Already planning our second visit �- only downside was the bed slats moved out of place just from laying down so we had to keep fixing it, if you’re petite it shouldn’t be a problem though!

We love this place. Come here quite often as we only live half an hour away. Lovely friendly staff. Great pitches. Good facilities. Always chilled and peaceful here, never had a bad stay, and will keep coming here for many years �

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at #backofbeyond and I can’t fault our stay.

Staff are helpful and friendly.

You get a good size allocated pitch for your caravan with awning.

Everybody on site and neighbours are all friendly.

The site and facilities are all very clean and tidy.

Your just on the edge of the New Forest with easy distance to the coast of Poole / Bournemouth/ Mudeford beach.

Great friendly site for your 4 leg friends too.

We had a fabulous time our pod kingfisher was so cosy and had everything we needed in it .. love the touch of washing up liquid and tea and coffee and milk being in there for us .. we felt very relaxed and will definitely be returning! Thank you

We arrived at Back of Beyond last Thursday to spend four nights over Easter. We were greeted by such friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble. It was such a shame that the weather was so bad, as the team had worked so hard to ensure that the site was looking its best. The toilet/shower blocks were immaculate and I loved seeing the vases of flowers and complimentary soap and hand lotion. The site itself is so peaceful and I can’t wait to return in the summer to see it in the sunshine. Thank you to the warden who towed us off our pitch at the end of our stay, due to the heavy rain. PS I am now a convert to Purbeck ice cream! Thank you once again for our stay at your fabulous site. Nick and Nicola

This touring camp is absolutely marvellous! They’ve got all the facilities that you need, from clean toilets, laundry and washing area, a food shop within the camp, and massive area to camp, relax and enjoy nature. We will definitely go back here, and we highly recommend it to all campers.

Stayed here for a week running up to Easter.Fantastic campsite, extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially the couple from Sheffield (sorry I’m hopeless with names) who couldn’t do enough for us. Shame about the lousy weather but we will definitely return in the summer. Big thank you to the guy who towed us off our pitch! �

Quiet, well laid out with friendly staff. Modern and spotlessly clean toilet blocks. Loads of nice woodland walks surrounding the site. Even though it’s secluded access to the A31 and supermarkets is only a stones throw away.

My wife and I have just come home from BoB. We spent 16 nights there and it flew past wayyyyyyy to quickly. A beautiful site with excellent facilities. The pitches are a really good size and access is good. Not that far from a major road but you really could be in the Back of Beyond, it's that peaceful. The staff were absolutely superb, I really can't express how good they were. Nothing was too much trouble and if there was a problem, it was sorted straight away. They kept the park spotless and the facilities were cleaned to a high standard everyday, which can't have been to easy in that hot weather we've just had. When you arrive on site, they take you round and show you where everything is and then they take you to your pitch. Not just given a map and left to it like some sites. Lovely big area for walking your dogs, they can go running thru trees and bushes to their hearts content and the whole area is fenced, so safety is great. I'm sure I've missed more than I've said but I can't recommend this site enough. It's definitely at the top of my list. Many thanks to everyone at the Back of Beyond touring and camping park. 5 stars just ain't enough.

We upgraded to the Beach Luxury Yurt and couldn’t have chosen a nicer place for a romantic getaway.



The site staff were really friendly and gave us the best welcome. The yurt was cosy and every little detail had be thought about.



We went exploring from here into Swanage and Bournemouth which were both easy to get to and not too far from the site.



I would definitely recommend Back of Beyond �� Can’t wait to go back!

My husband, myself and our dog just got back from 4 nights at BoB staying in the very comfortable and well equipped otter glamping pod. We had the most fantastic time, very friendly and helpful staff, clean site and excellant facilities, lots to do and see in the local area. Highly recommend, can't wait to return 😊

My husband and I came for 2 nights last week which had been a gift from my Dad. We staying in the magpie pod and we were pleasantly surprised. The bed was super comfy, there was a kettle and some utensils. Even a hanger for us to hang our clothes. The outside space was lovely with a large decking, umbrella for shade (we didn’t use it but would be great for summer) and a large gas stove with gas provided.

There is a large number of local facilities including pubs, fast food restaurants, cute little towns and a Lidl. In the community hut there is loads of info about what to do in the area and menus. I also understand that several takeaways would deliver to site. The site itself is beautiful. Which plenty of areas to explore.

The communal facilities were of a high standard and were always clean. Only downside was the automatic lights, which I totally get are great to save energy. However wasn’t so helpful when they went off whilst I was in the shower at about 8:30pm. This made me very nervous as I am nearly 4 months pregnant. Luckily I had a good torch and someone came in shortly after. When we mentioned this to reception they apologised and said that they would get a maintenance guy to have a look at extending the time frame that the lights would go off. I have always felt in customer service that as long as an apology is made and a suggestion is made to rectify the situation then that’s great. It definitely wouldn’t put me off coming again. However this is not possible for us as it’s an adult only site (which we loved and think is a fab idea) so all we can do is highly recommend the site and spread the word.

Love love love! We had such a lovely time glamping in the Squirrel lodge! It was just lovely. The toilet facilities where lovely and clean at all times and nice and close to the glamping site! We had rain on one night but it was nice and cosy in the cabin. Definitely doesn't have to be fair weather to enjoy! But obviously it helps! The staff were very friendly and we loved the attention to detail with the little Squirrel mugs and Teddy on the bed. Very sweet. The lakes are gorgeous and a beautiful place to sit and watch the sun go down. Really couldn't have asked for better and at such a brilliant price! Would recommend highly and we will absolutely be back again! �

Just returned from a two night stay in the Squirrel cabin. Really enjoyed our stay. Site is very quiet. We took our puppy and the dog walking area is fantastic. Cabin was very clean with plenty of room to relax on the decking. No hesitation giving a 5* - we’re already planning our next stay �

Had a brilliant weekend, thank you so much! Pizza Friday evening, and fish n chips Saturday! Our dog loved exploring the area, and didn't mind being showered in the dog shower after being to the sea side! Friendly staff. Showers and toilets always clean.........will be back soon! We will try out the dog friendly pod next time :-) Thank you again.

Had 2 of the most peaceful and tranquil nights. The park is very well maintained. The facilities were immaculate over our 2 night stay there. Only downside is the polished floors in the lodges, a wee bit slippy if in your socks but other than that not a negative thing to say. Will definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later. Well worth the visit, thank you very much �

From the moment we arrived we knew this place was going to be amazing. Never been to adult only before. We have always camped with our children. We were greeted by a very lovely lady who showed us all around the site and gave us a great pitch. Showers were always immaculate as were all the other facilities. Doggy wash is a great idea. Very peaceful site. Great location. Security is good. Will definitely be going back.

Back of Beyond is an excellent campsite. It is very well set up and organised. Lovely clean shower and toilet block, excellent camping area in the shelter of trees, friendly helpful staff and well laid out campervan and caravan area as well as an area for clamping. And it's very peaceful and quiet in lovely surroundings and no kids running and shouting anywhere because it's for adults only. I will most definitely be going back there and would highly recommend this site to anyone, as long as they don't won't kids about.
