Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Classes at the practice will be starting on Tuesday 18th September at 6.30pm - 7.20pm. Please call reception for more details and to book your place on 01937 543860.
Limited spaces to ensure an happy learning environment for your puppy. We welcome puppies not registered with the practice but must have started their puppy vaccination programme.

Happy Friday everyone, we hope you all have wonderful weekend and enjoy the sunny weather. Jade and Dawn will be in tomorrow 8:30am-12pm if you have any worries or need anything.

[Fun fact] Did you know there are other options other than the dreaded cone of shame or Buster collar. We all know how stressful it is for both our pet and us as owners to have to deal with the cone of shame after a surgical procedure. Meet Vinnie he was very brave today after having been castrated and to try and make things a little less stressful for him we offer the Pet Medi jacket which is worn until the final check or sutures out. They are thin and breathable and in stylish red, blue or on special request leopard print or zebra print. Vinnie no longer has to be ashamed about been seen in a collar instead he can be the new doggie trend setter. 🐕🐾

[Meet & Greet] Meet Magic the little rescue dog from Spain. Magic belongs to one of Wharfedale clients Lynda. Like many of our patients Magic was rescued and brought to England 10 months ago. Lynda took her under her care as she has with many of her dogs in the past and nursed her back to health along with much needed love and attention. Magic weighed less than 4kg when she arrived and over the months with the dedication and love of Lynda she is now at her ideal weight of 8kg and as you can see happy and full of life. Magic recently won “Best revitalised rescue” at Tockwith show. Our pets are so special to us in so many different ways, all they need is love, attention and to be treated as an individual. Big congratulations Magic and Lynda

[Repeat prescriptions] Just a reminder that with the long weekend approaching if you need any repeat prescription we will need the order placed by Thursday to have them received Friday. Our next order wont be able to be placed until Tuesday 28th August. Have a wonderful long weekend. We are only closed the Monday.

[Models required] Do you think you have what it takes to be a Wharfedale model? We are having our clinic photo shoot this Thursday at 1pm and we need some doggie models who would be happy and relaxed to pose in some of our photos to promote the clinic. We would love to have your waggy tails for approximately 1 hour 1-2pm Thursday 2nd August (they are welcome to be dropped off earlier if more convenient). Because we know all our patients are model worthy we will be collecting... everyone's names who comments on this post and will draw out the names tomorrow lunch time. [Staff] We are all very excited to introduce Jackie our newest receptionist. Jackie has had a fantastic first week and we all know she is going to fit in really well at Wharfedale. Welcome to the team Jackie we are all over the moon to have you with us.

The Wharfedale team are proud to now have our very own vaccination cards, business cards and client leaflets. We hope you all like the designs and that it captures what we are about. The team will be attending some local festivals, dog shows so watch the Facebook page for details. Lots of exciting opportunities coming soon. Thanks to all our clients and patients for the ongoing support through out our re-brand.

Sue has worked miracles on our little girl when our vets and her specialists had gave up on her. We cannot express how much of a life changing impact Sue's understanding and dedication has made to our little girl. The power of natural treatments is truly astounding and we cannot thank you enough Sue. Lots of of Love � Kenya.

I wanted to say a massive thanks to Jade, Janet and all the team at Balanced Being. I took on a rescue cat Bob who was ill from day 1 and they have been nothing but patient and supportive of both of us - even with his projectile vomit down their walls one day! Bob has now passed on and is at peace and Jade sent the most lovely card reassuring us that we did everything we could for him, and that meant so so mich. Thanks to all of you. Xx

I visited for the first time today having become increasingly concerned about the possible consequences of annual boosters and over-vaccination, not to mention reports I have heard of the possible serious adverse reactions to the Lepto vaccine, particularly Lepto 4. I couldn't have asked for a better service and can't thank Jade enough for her time and patience explaining and talking through all my concerns and her genuine interest in the health of my pet, giving me the opportunity to make informed decisions with no pressure whatsoever. I will certainly be using their services in the future and can't recommend them highly enough.

Excellent vet practice with a real passion for the best health approach for client's pets rather than just selling flea treatments, wormers etc. Jade spent plenty of time talking through the vaccination protocol for our puppy and explaining about the titre test. Relaxed and friendly as well as knowledgeable and professional. Worth a journey to find a vet practice of this kind.
