What a great club. The staff are friendly and helpful, the drinks aren't too pricey and the drinks deals in the week are amazing for those on a student budget. Banging sound system, sick DJs and a special mention to the door staff who always make me feel comfortable and welcome!

We hired B45 for a private party and had an incredible time. Thanks so much for accommodating all our ridiculous decor ideas and helping run such a good night!

We held our first event at Basement 45 over the weekend. Everything was great, night couldn't have gone any smoother! Easy and professional to deal and work with! Great management and bar staff! Both rooms sounded great and all of the equipment was working perfectly. Highly recommended! We'll be back!

We held our event here last month- THE BOX 3, Mark was very helpful throughout the build up to the event, with any questions or advice we needed answering, Extremely helpful on set up day and all the staff were on point throughout the night. One of the best clubs in Bristol with a lot of character. Every time I’ve been there there’s been great vibes throughout. Staff are all lovely and I always enjoy a night there, whether I’m working or there to party! The nights they put on are so varied, so there’s something for everyone. Maybe pay the club a visit?

Messaged the club at short notice asking about a practise session on the gear inside. Not only did they sort me out straight away, which was super convenient to me, the service when I was there was excellent as well as the kit being perfect and the sound system sounding amazing!! would highly recommend using the club for your event/practise session or whatever you may have planned! very happy:) thanks

I was recommended by a friend to hire the Den out for a birthday party and I'm so glad I did. We had a party of around 60 people and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.



I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be booking the room out again.

I launched Fight Klub here yesterday (boxing workout to drum & bass) and it was amazing! Brilliant venue, the staff are fantastic (Ryan is a legend and Mark is the most accommodating club owner ever!). I can’t wait to do my next class on Saturday!!

Held our first event at Basement last night. The staff were excellent and Mark was more than helpful during the build-up to the night. Couldn't recommend basement enough as a venue!

Had my birthday party there with great friends and Djs thank the staff that help out just make sure you take ID as part of their license they need to check on the door great club and good vibes x

Great club and would highly recommend to anyone. Go there regularly and it's always an amazing atmosphere and the sound system is awesome. All of the staff are amazing, really helpful, friendly and always smiling. The door staff are absolutely sound and the manager is doing a great job of running the club and making it a safe and a great place to be! �

Crackin’ club! All of the bar staff are super helpful and friendly, and always make me feel really welcome. Big shout out the door staff and manager who work their hardest to make the club a safe space for not only women but for everyone, always feel really safe in this bless venue! Would highly recommend getting down and havin it laaaaaarge. � extra shout out to the club for all the Jump Up DnB nights they enable to happen! ��

Couldn't have asked for a better venue & staff for our first event! Management are an absolute delight to deal with and very helpful and willing to assist with anything! The vibes and set out of the club is great! Gives out a very cosy, yet underground vibes. Would 100% recommend this venue for anybody looking to hire somewhere out.

Basement 45 is a fantastic venue and provided us the perfect platform to launch our new night. Both rooms are a good size and come complete with industry standard set-up.



Mark, Jack and the team were a pleasure to work with providing guidance and assistance wherever needed and without delay. We would undoubtedly like to work together again and look forward to putting more nights on here.

As social secretary of the University of Bristol RFC for the 2016/17 year, I have had the pleasure of working with Mark and the team at Basement 45,r as it has been the home of our Wednesday night socials. The socials ranged from 200-50 throughout the year, with a range of activities happening at B45. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and I cannot recommend B45 more highly as a venue for hire or a club to go to for the night.

Absolutely brilliant night hiring out Basement 45 for my 21st. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating, no issues what so ever and I was given plenty of information throughout the planning process and on the night. I would definitely recommend this club to others!

Basement 45 was an outstanding venue for my first event. Professional bar staff and especially the very accommodating managers, dealt with issues that occurred throughout the evening in the correct manner and professionally! Huge respect!



The new funktion 1 sound system in the main room sounded insane!



The only issue I had was I felt I wasn’t given enough information for why people got asked to leave the premisses or certain people were not aloud into the venue. I was instead presented with quite an angry security guard. (I do however have full respect for them and that their job can get very stressful)



1 tip/advice to future promoters is that no matter how old someone is everyone still needs to show a valid form of ID! I had an issue with getting one of my cousins in who was 28 years of age! (Still wasn’t aloud to access the venue and had to go home!)



Would recommend to anyone. Mark the owner was also brilliant and kept full communication throughout the whole process!

I am absolutely appalled with the behaviour I received last night from your bouncers. My sister was at Basement 45 last night I went to meet her there at around 2/3 I was refused entry which I understand as it was after letting in but what I am upset about was the way I was treated. I wasn’t aloud entry to tell my sister I had been refused and was on my own without money. I tried to explain I was on my own and wanted to tell her I was here as she wasn’t answering her phone, I explained I had no money and I was worried being on my own when I asked if they could find her I got told to basically fuck off I then asked to see the manager which I was then told I was speaking to him which I don’t believe at all because surely you wouldn’t leave a vulnerable woman by herself when she’s asking for help. After being told they wouldn’t help me I then asked for some help on my phone as I didnt know how to turn my location on on my phone so I could order a uber I then had the bouncer shouting in my face saying I was grown woman and I should know which yes I except I’m a grown woman and probably should know but when someone is openly asking for help and support they shouldn’t be treated this way. Is this the way your club treat people?
