We've just had a lovely day out at Becky Falls. We enjoyed doing the purple walk, seeing the animals and our lunch from the cafe. Staff were also lovely, we'll definitely be coming back!

User

We visited all the way from Birmingham. This was the main reason for our stay in Devon. I came with two young children and my husband. I was absolutely blown away by the natural beauty. We took parts in the walks we were able to. The children loved collecting the stamps. Great idea!!

The highlight for me was the main waterfall though. Took many spectacular photographs and my children loved the animals. It might seem expensive but it really was worth every penny we had a day we will treasure forever. We will be back again one day.

We came for the first time last Sat and did all the activities plus the walks including the purple trail. My kids are 9 and 5 and loved every second of it.. . Even winning and Easter egg each!

We loved it so much we became season ticket holders and had the days visit refunded against the cost. On Easter Mon we asked the kids what last activity they wanted to do and they wanted to come back again.

The highlight for us is the animal encounters and the boulder climbing which is fantastic to Jay throw yourself into without warning and health and safety signs everywhere. Again my 5 year old chucked herself into this and loved every second.. Even falling in and Getting wet.

We all went home Mon freezing cold soaking wet (Yes I fell in too) completely shattered bt soooo looking forward to being able to return again very soon. With our passes now we will defo be regular visitors.

Jst a little note about the staff... everyone was super friendly and took time to communicate with my kids bt a big mention to Pippa who was so kind and helpful on our first visit.

See u all again very soon

This was a lovely day out, we did two of the three walks with a four year old, which our son loved with the boulder clambering and thought it was the best adventure ever. Very good price as well.

User

Such a beautiful place..we did all three walks and the girls loved the nature trail collecting the stamps on the way round and enjoyed the sweets they got for doing the trail in the car on the way home, happily shattered...we went during Halloween weekend and the children carved pumpkins and made paper bats all included in entrance fee....lovely animals and cafe...would definitely recommend it....

Stunning even on a rainy day, managed blue and red walks with our 5 year old and 10 month old who took full use of the carriers that were available at no extra cost, the one we recieved was sturdy and perfect for the job and made us get the most from the visit.

Lovely place for the family to explore!

We have a one year old daughter and they had a place for us to keep her buggy whilst we went on the walks and also supplied a carrier for us to take her on the walk with us.

Our 11 year old son enjoyed the nature walk were he could stamp off all the pictures for a little prize at the end.

Staff really friendly and helpful!

The picnic areas are clean and tidy and a member of staff came round and gave a treat to all the dogs!

Great day out!

Lovely day out. My 4 year old loved the blue trail where she got to collect stamps and swap for a small prize in the gift shop she also loved the animals. We then took on the red trail, was a lot more hard work but had so much fun. Even my 4 year old managed it without any problems. The lady in the gift shop was very friendly and happy. Hopefully come back next time we are in Devon.

User

Just a great place to visit

and explore the woodland, highly recommend for all

I love this place. We have been coming here annually since my son was 4, he's now 9. Plenty to do other than the 3 trails - meetcats, petting animals, reptiles, spiders and owls. The scenery is stunning at Easter with bluebell woods and spring flowers and the waterfall is lovely any time of year. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an active day out

User

Great fun even in the rain! We did the easy walk and half of the red walk with a three year old who loved climbing over rocks and down ditches etc. Animals were a lovely addition and the cafe was good enough. Everybody was friendly and helpful. We will be back in the summer.

User

First visit to Becky Falls today and we were all blown away! What an amazingly tranquil place with so much to see and experience and what a bargain too! Hoping to come back again very soon to maybe attempt the purple trail and to see the incredibly friendly staff again too!

User

First time visitor yesterday. The falls were beautiful. I would think that on a hot summer day it would be a perfect place to visit. If you've "dodgy" hips or knees some of the trails would be best avoided!!!! I did find it a bit of a problem in places where there were quite high steps. All in all it was a lovely trip.

User

Beautiful waterfalls, best cream tea in the cafe and very polite and friendly staff..

User

definitely worth a visit, only tip would be wear sensible walking shoes like we did as you'll need them for the red route :) It's nice that the paths have been left natural and not graveled over as it leaves the woodland as nature intended it to be.

User

Lovely place to visit - very beautiful and very peaceful, with lots of interesting things to see and explore. The cafe was lovely, as were the staff who looked after me when I was unlucky enough to fall and fracture my wrist - thank you all! I give four stars as I’m not entirely convinced admission is worth £8.25 per person and because I had to pay for entry in cash; luckily we had just enough when we arrived, else it would have been a bit of a trek to Bovey Tracey to get to a cash point.

User

Had a lovely few hours walking around the beautiful scenery. Although a little disappointed that we picked a Saturday as on line it said the talks took place. But nothing happened around the enclosures at the stated time. Lovely to be able to take our dog around with us too.

We visited yesterday for the first time.

My partner, daughter and granddaughter went for the walk and found it beautiful and well worth the money to go in.

I unfortunately am a Crohn's disease sufferer and have had a nasty flare while on our holiday.

We asked the lady in the restaurant if it would be ok for me to sit at the tables just outside the restaurant while they went for the walk as I wouldn't be able to make it walking around.

The lady was lovely and said this wasn't a problem as long as I just sat at the tables and didn't wonder off. I was welcome to use the restaurant while i waited..Amazing.. 1 of my daughters stayed with me as she was uncomfortable leaving me alone.

Anyway after an hour I popped in to the restaurant to buy drinks and an ice cream, only to be told by a young rather rude staff member that I wasn't welcome to buy anything, I shouldn't even be sat there because I hadn't paid.

I honestly felt totally humiliated and I didn't want to explain to her why I was sat there again, so I just went and sat outside again. :(

If it was a problem for me to sit and wait that would have been fine, we wouldn't have paid to enter and we would have left.

I did spend nearly £20 in the cafe on arrival and I would have spent more in there and in the gift shop had I been allowed in.

Left feeling really deflated.

If you want to walk around some woods and riverside, there’s plenty of places in Devon and Cornwall where you can do it for free. Pleasant enough but once you’ve been once ......
