To be honest, you can go into a shop not knowing what you are looking for and get hassled into buying unsuitable gear. At Blade Reading we, my 16 year old son and I, went looking for a helmet,jacket and gloves for a first time rider. We had a browse around not really knowing what is suitable. Then James( I think sorry mate ) came over and asked us if we needed assistance,we did . He took time to explain helmet fit, price and suitability. He did exactly the same for jacket and gloves. There was no pressure to buy just sound advice.

Suffice to say my son got what we went for plus a heap of knowledge.

Thanks I'm sure we will be back.

My Yamaha sales assistant was Jake. Had long email corespondence to negotiate purchase of my new FJR. Totally professional throughout. Saw Jake in person on the day of collection. Very professional and friendly. Great personal touch was the suggestion of a dog friendly pub to have lunch on the way home. The Riverside was a great suggestion, thank you Jake.

A reminder received recently. Well done to Blades of Swindon for a follow up service although I live too far away. As you can see the bike is 15 years old but has been serviced and maintained by this company regularly and I must congratulate them for wanting to carry on even though it has a new owner.

Not very helpful salesman, didn't make any effort to serve me, more intersted in chatting to his mate.



Got a ducati out for me to sit on then turned his back to talk to his mate, no effort made at all
