Through the art of testing muscles, kinesiologists are able to effectively open a dialogue with your body's intricate systems and help to remove the stresses which prevent your whole being from working at its best. The testing is an indicator of how the energy is flowing.

The general tightness you feel in a muscle is a combination of stored energy and emotion. In Chinese terms, they call this energy 'Chi' and it runs through the acupuncture meridian points.

Where there is a build-up of this energy, the body can become overwhelmed. The emotional state of the body at the time causes these meridian points to be flooded.

This in turn creates a toxic build-up and it is these toxins which can cause diseases and emotional problems.

By eradicating this blocked energy and clearing the lymphatic points the pain and tension is removed and the balance is restored to the body.

Research has shown that this system of muscle testing can evaluate the mental, chemical, structural and electrical aspects of an individual, and when the techniques are put into practice, it can result in an outstanding level of vitality and restore the body to its true health.

Kinesiology restores a level of balance back in the body by ensuring each muscle is strengthened, this creates a healthier environment within our system to help blood, oxygen and lymphatics to run smoothly.

is a relaxing massage which uses varying techniques to suit the individual needs of the person. The purpose of Swedish massage is to bring relaxation to the body by manipulating the muscles with long, gliding strokes that follow the direction of blood that's returning to the heart which facilitates the release of toxins and waste products encouraging lymphatic drainage, increased blood oxygen levels and overall better flexibility and muscle tone.


The five basic strokes used are effleurage (sliding or gliding), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (cross fibre) and vibration /shaking. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, and improving function in patients with varying joint problems.
Regular massage also helps to reduce cellulite, high blood pressure, stress and anxiety as well as many more ailments.
