Our health and the health of our beloved ones are the most precious things we have; and not only physical health, but also mental and emotional well being are extremely important aspects to cultivate in order to enjoy fully every moment of life we experience. When our inner balance and harmony with the environment that surrounds our life is disrupted, disease arises and symptoms start to show. Herbal medicine aims to restore the whole well being of a person through the localisation of the background imbalance and root causes of diseases and corrects them with the use of medicinal herbs, dietary advice and lifestyle changes.
On the treatment:
Visiting a herbalist means doing a commitment to yourself to get better. During a consultation, which lasts usually one and a half hour, I will investigate the symptoms of the patient, ask questions about his history, lifestyle, diet and check the function of his different body systems in order to have bigger picture of the present health condition. Then an appropriate treatment plan will be formulate together with the patient to redirect him on the path to achieve optimal health and psyco-emotional well being. A typical treatment protocol will usually involve a daily administration of liquid or dry herbal preparations and gradual changes in daily diet and lifestyle will be suggested if opportune.
On myself:
I achieved my degree in BSc (Hons) Herbal Medicine in July 2017, became member on the National Institute of Medical Herbalism in October 2017 and currently studying to become a practitioner of Holistic massage.
