Hi, we are up and running as normal today.

Update 10am Friday 2 March. Unfortunatley we have decided to close our call centres due to adverse weather conditions effecting us more seriously than we had predicted earlier on today.

Bloody awful spent 20 quid today on phone calls to log a claim as a drunk driver hit my parked car at weekend unbelievable shit service on hold press option 1 4 8 3 oh god nitemare and to top it off by 4pm still no claim logged arghhh

Nobody answers your customer service calls!! Disgraceful do you value customers after the purchase ! I would say no,calling again today been cut off once ! Another number doesn't work at all how the hell do you get to speak to somebody ! Would I advocate you never !

Worst customer service in the history of the world, been in hold for around an hour to no avail, if you call and request a new policy they pick up straight away, quote went up by 71% and they asked if I would still want it, after I had explained that I didn't, all I kept getting told was it was the new underwriters that had caused the price hike, you won't be getting your hands on my cash this year!!!

Won't be renewing my car insurance with you. £437 to renew despite 1 years no claims. My car was written off by my neighbour and I had to buy a new car; bright side charged me £100 on top of what I paid last year. I gave your renewal team a chance to put it right but no. Stuck at £437. Went with Aviva for £287. An easy way to lose customers.

What a terrible way to run a business. Fastest growing insurance company my bum! I have been trying to get through to someone for 4 days and have spent hours on hold or transferred to a messaging service which was full (surprise surprise) so couldn't leave a message. Can't even get through for new customers wanting a quote!!

I need to change my car details so i can pick my new car up tomorrow. No certificate of insurance no car!!! Thanks Brightside!

Tried to contact every number on the Web page with no luck. It's a good renewal price so won't be letting this drop. I called the directors fone number I got through to a lovely lady who filled me full of hope. But it was dashed when 20 min call back has turned into 24hrs

This company has been very incompetent with our car insurance since taking it about 4 weeks ago. They keep harassing us for documentation we have sent 7 times to them by varoius methods. We have today received a letter to say they will be terminating the insurance if we do not send the documents. The phone line is a nightmare, I have spent 1 hr 10 mins getting through to them today. What will a claim be like if I have to make one? Perhaps this company is one to avoid.

Their call centre is a complete joke... Be prepared to put aside at least 40 minutes of your life to one side if you ever ever have to get in touch with them... Listening to the same four chords for the same forty minutes can only be likened to being at a nickleback concert!!

So the con-artists once known as eCar insurance have decided to change their names. I would like to warn any potential customers to this organization to go elsewhere. These people will do anything and everything to milk every penny out of you. I moved address last year to a more secure area, but they somehow tried to justify me spending another £400 on my car insurance, after having just paid them for 12 months cover 2 months before! They also endlessly like to get you to call premium rate numbers and keep you waiting to get every penny out of you. Needless to say I will not be renewing and I encourage everyone to steer clear of this egotistical selfish insurance a-holes!

So far, 1 month in to our car insurance policy and I have to say this is by far my worst experience in dealing with an insurance company in all of my 15 years of driving. They miss manage your details, then threaten you, and make sure that they are uncontactable by any means. I have spent over 2 hours on hold this week alone. Talk about a bad experience. Recieved my 1st renewal quote since they "took over" my current provider,and to my amazement it was almost double what it was last year.Tried using there website but had no details to use as none of the ref numbers i had were any use for logging in, so begrudgingly rang the phone number (cost unknown yet) only to be greeted by a uninterested lady who had no interest in my question of as to why my quote was so high and couldnt care less that i would not be renewing with then.

I was informed that i will recieve my proof of no claims after 48hrs of the cover elapsing,im not sure if this is common practice but surely i need this info to provide to my next provider?

Overall not impressed with my short experiance with this company and will deff not be renewing with them even if the quote was acceptable

Ive tried to call, Ive been put on hold for over an hour and a half... the company has an automated servive and just puts you on hold... Ive had my policy cancelled by them and my money hasnt been returned? I paid £183 on the 12-08-15, I want it back, no communication from them!!! £183 is a lot of money... dont use Brightside Insurance Group!!!

If I could give a 0 score I would worse insurance company customer services are rude they ask for documents that you send they then say they haven't received them when you are actually looking at the items in your sent email and cancel your policy with no warning absolutely disgraceful then have the cheek to ask for cancellation fee your a joke company

I have just finished a 40 minute call to Brightside Insurance, 25 minutes of that I was on hold for. When I asked the woman on the end of the line why this was she had said there was no one in the queue before me and I had been connected directly. I told her again I'd been on hold for 25 minutes and she said that there was no reason for it at all. My insurance policy was cancelled today leaving me stranded at the house, because I they did not receive my documentation despite me emailing it 5 days ago. They were also unable to re-instate my policy despite the fact that clearly email correspondence between us is not working. They did offer me the chance to set up a new policy but demanded more money first. When I asked to speak to a manger or the complaints department they told me I would receieve a phone call AT ANY TIME in the next 48HOURS! I am absolutely disgusted by this treatment, they've now left me in a position where I'm unable to use my car, have wasted my valuable time on hold for no reason and now have to spend even more time checking my finances to see how much this entire issue has cost me so I can begin legal proceedings against them.

Awful, took over ecar and my insurance renewal quote increased from 200 to 1466.66 and that's the best they could do! I have another car insured with them which will be lapsed next year, ill be shopping elsewhere, apparently I'm now classed as high risk for living on the Isle of Man! Bring back Ecar!

What an absolute joke!!!!!!!!! Never have my business again and I've used Ecar for ten years! What a shame very disappointed!

Avoid like the plague ....I took out a policy they had the wrong start date took an hour to get through on the phone to be told my payment will be refunded in 3 to 5 days , then later received an email stating that I'd be repaid 30 days from the wrong start date ..it'll be .40 days later before I get my money back !!!!!
