Planning Approval for BLOC Hotels Extension at Gatwick Airport.
The team here at BrightSpace are pleased to see planning permission granted for a 231-room extension to the existing BLOC Hotel at Gatwick Airport, London. After the success of the original BLOC Hotels, which has been operating at over 90% occupancy since it opened in 2014, the new extension will take the total occupancy up to 473 rooms and be built above the existing South Terminal departures gate, with a glass ...passenger bridge linking it to the original hotel.

Planning Approval for Hatfield Car Park in Hertfordshire.
We are super proud to share our third planning approval in as many weeks, what a way to kick start the new decade! The new 420 multi-storey car park in Hatfield got approved on Thursday, 6 February by Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and features iconic aircraft designs, symbolic of Hatfield’s proud aviation heritage.

Completed in Autumn 2019, the new dwellings are a modern interpretation of the neighbouring traditional barns. The design utilises minimal detailing, clean lines and large expanses of glazing to create the contemporary interpretation.

Hoburne Park Barns is a new residential development in Christchurch that saw us refurbish an existing farm house, barn and stables, with six new contemporary units that compliment the traditional setting - a project we are extremely proud of.
So, how do we get such unique views? Well, over the past few months, we've been working hard on gaining permission to fly commercially (PfCO) from the CAA and ar...e excited to announce that we are now implementing drones into everyday practice life - how exciting is that?!

Winter Gardens Achieves Full Planning Permission!
Last week we were delighted to see Winter Gardens get full support from the BCP Council planning committee, granting approval for the Reserved Matters application. This follows the outline application which was approved in November last year, meaning we can now look forward to commencing works on site in 2020.
