Yay it's the weekend and, for many of us, the beginning of the school summer holidays. There are so many things to do that are free and affordable in Bristol this summer that I haven't managed to finish my blog yet!
So I just thought I'd mention that this weekend it's the Bristol Harbour Festival and there will be absolutely loads to do for families.
If you fancy avoiding the crowds (it does get really busy!) then tomorrow I would definitely recommend Fishstock in Totterdown.... This is a much smaller family-friendly festival with live music, stalls, face painting, bouncy castle and delicious food! Starts at 12 and looks like loads of fun!
I'll be posting my blog on summer holiday activities on Monday – what events are you looking forward to this summer?

Does anyone like free beer? If England win their match against the USA tonight, everyone can get a free four-pack of Budweiser from participating supermarkets. Tell a friend who loves free beer!

Feeling the strain? Then how about a FREE massage from the lovely students at Bristol College of Massage & Bodywork?
You must be available during July 20 to 23 and will need to get in quick as there are limited spaces. Who do you know who deserves a free massage?

What free and affordable events are you planning on going to this week in Bristol? My pick of the week is the Teddy Bears Picnic on Saturday June 29, where children 12 and under can enjoy a free train ride on Avon Valley Railway when they bring their teddy bear along! They can also look forward to magic shows, balloon modelling and giant bubbles!
What other events are taking place in and around Bristol this week? Have I missed anything?

As always there are lots of things going on this weekend in Bristol including Yate Festival and Corn Street's free street party this Sunday.
