Burnbake Forest Lodges

About Burnbake Forest Lodges

Burnbake Forest Lodge Holidays - situated in the heart of The Isle of Purbeck, Dorset. 2 and 3 bedroom luxury lodges with hot tubs & wood burning stoves!

Burnbake Forest Lodges Description

The Lodge site is located halfway between the historic ruins of Corfe Castle and the golden sands of Studland beach, allowing easy access to all the Isle of Purbeck and the wider Poole Harbour area has to offer. The Jurassic Coastline, along with the Victorian seaside resort of Swanage with its Steam Railway, and the quaint Saxon walled market town of Wareham – are complemented by a host of award winning attractions including Monkey World and the Bovington Tank Museum.

The new Forest Lodges are situated on the periphery of the established Burnbake tented campsite – a very traditional relaxed family orientated woodland campsite. The lodges are set in a separate glade with their own space and outlook into the woodland landscape.

The Lodges are available for week long visits or short breaks. Weekly bookings run from Friday to Friday, weekend three night breaks are available from Friday to Monday and four night midweek breaks from Monday to Friday.

We've just returned from out 2nd visit to Burnbake, and we didn't want to leave!

When we arrived, the lodge was beautifully clean and tidy, with a tasty welcome pack waiting in the fridge. Also we had a deer grazing just outside our lodge, rabbits hopping about, and a wake up call from a crow tapping on our front door! With under floor heating and a log burner, it was super cosy when we came in from the hot tub.

There's plenty to see and do in the area, and a Burnbake lodge is the perfect base for exploring!

We love burnbake so modern but comfy everything you need fab location we have been twice now and hopefully booking again next year! The only down side and it wouldn't stop us coming is the height of the beds there really high and I worry About the kids falling out x

User

We have just returned from a brilliant weekend staying in a lodge, all lodges are positioned so that you are not right next door to one another which is fab. The hot tub is a winner so clean and comfortable with all top notch creature comforts - fab soft linen, log burner, robes and slippers - to top the weekend we had a delicious locally sourced breakfast pack in the fridge which was a lovely surprise. We will def love to come back again soon x

User

We have been several times and enjoyed our stay each time. Staff our attentive and the lodges are very well equipped with some nice extras.. can’t wait to go again next year.

User

We had a most fabulous stay at Burnbake. We love the Studland area for our holidays and finding a perfect place to stay has been a trial over the last few years. We've found the perfect place. Our two children, 4 & 6 think it is fabulous. Relaxing, refreshing & peaceful. Thank you.

User

This beautiful place exceeded our expectations in every way. Staff, location, accommodation all lovely. Will definitely be back. Thank you all.

User

The lodge was far nicer than we expected, and the fresh loaf of bread, bacon, sausages, eggs and milk from the local dairy on arrival were a nice touch.

Will definitely return.

My wife & I stayed at the Burnbake Forest Lodges for 5 days during July 2018. From stepping inside of the front door, the lodge exceeded our expectations in every way!! The furnishings, how big it was, the double shower, the hot tub, everything that was there was superb!! A complimentary breakfast was provided, along with bath robes & slippers! The positioning of the detached lodges make them very private, very handy whilst sitting out on the decking or soaking in the hot tub. Location in the forest is idyllic. Will definitely be hoping that we can get back there as soon as possible.

User

User

Just got home from a fantastic week at Burnbake. Lodges are just so nice (this was the second time we'd stayed) in such a lovely area surrounded by wildlife. The hot tubs are a real treat and we'll definitely be back next year! Highly recommend.

User

Just got back from great week here. Was in lodge 16, lovely and quiet, lots of wildlife around. Very clean and modern lodge, still looked new. Great hot tub, although could've been abit more bubbly!!!οΏ½. Location was excellent for all the places we wanted to visit. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back! Thank you.x

User

Have had the most brilliant little family break this week. Fantastic lodges and lovely hot tub.

The lodges are spacious and cozy set in beautiful surroundings of the woods with lovely walks and the stream running through the park. We also had dinner at the aunt travels cafe on site on Wednesday and the steak was divine.

Would highly recommend this amazing place.

It's right on our doorstep but we will be back!

Perfect relaxing holiday.

Only downfall was TV reception is not great - but was nice to forget the telly anyway.

User

Had a lovely time second time staying there. The lodges are beautiful. The area the site is on is in a beautiful location. Lovely onsite shop anonnot far away from the main corfe town. Which i also got to see first time which is a beautiful town to be seen. Definitely plan on going back

User

Great place to stay, very light and airy situated amongst the trees, where the squirrels, rabbits and birds come to say hello. We stayed in a two bedroomed lodge no.14 which is nicely tucked away, the accommodation is very comfortable and has been finished to a lovely standard, my only suggestion would be if they could put a door separating the bathroom and second bedroom from the kitchen so it gives a little more privacy, I felt a little exposed especially as the lock on the door was broken, I think it would be an easy fix.

There are lots of sliding patio doors, off both bedrooms, lounge and kitchen, giving you access to the decking, outside seating/ BBQ area and jacuzzi. A great welcome pack was provided including bread, butter and bacon which were of an excellent standard. I also love the way they even provide a couple of pairs of slippers, dressing gowns and towels for the jacuzzi. We went as a group of adults aged 55-60, Ten of us in total and had a wonderful time, I'm sure we will return for a 3rd time.

User

Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday. Hot tub was great as was the welcome pack. Highly recommend.
