Call-A-Cab

Hi Call a Cab. Tim here. A great taxi company to use. We booked a car from Padstow to our house in Treyarnon Bay on Sunday the 1st October 2017 for 19.20hrs. We advised the company that we were party of six but they stated that we would have to be picked up outside Barclays Bank in Padstow instead of outside the ShIpwrights Arms. At the appointed hour we duly presented ourselves to the agreed pick-up point and bang- on time the car was there. Result. Then the fun really started. There was some singing going on in the car when about 5 minutes into our journey our fine driver asked us if we liked Elvis. Having seen his dancing Elvis on the dashboard it was assumed that he did so we all said yes. He then pulled over just before Harlyn Bay and produced a CD of Elvis singing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This was inserted into the CD player and hey presto let the magic singing begin. If anyone happened to hear the inspirational singing of "Burning Love" and "It's now or never" from a taxi roving the Cornish lanes, I wonder what the sleepy residents of Constantine and Treyarnon would have thought. One thing for certain is that it was the finest taxi ride that we have all partaken of and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We are still talking about it. Bizarre and fun. Thumbs up to Call a Cab. We shall most certainly be using them again. Made our night having all been rattled on Rattler. We decided to stop short of the house being dropped off at the YHA at Treyarnon Bay just at the time that my oldest son and his partner along with my 10 months old granddaughter were leaving. Heaven knows what they thought on our arrival. Then they saw who it was so fully understood all the noise. Excellent and many thanks Call a Cab. Lord BASNETT, Solihull.
