just been today for the first time we really loved it . kids had an amazing time .

the staff members are all so friendly

shame the big rides were closed but I was told they will reopen in 2 weeks time .

the only downside was the kids were looking forward to see the mascots. not once we seen them we were told a show will start at 14.30 but there was nothing at all .

we love the park

we live next to a theme park in helston (cornwall ) and I will never return there again .

you are way more affordable

better staff .

better quality food

will purchase a year membership for my all family

thank you for everything

we are coming back on Saturday

User

What a lovely theme park, I was advised on arrival that the park is going through some big transformations and some rides were closed so no big shocks lol. Myself and my family come every year and as always the park was immaculate and the staff were very helpful. We are all looking forward to seeing the theme park after the redevelopment. Absolutely perfect day and would highly recommend. Thank you.

User

We came on Monday during our weeks visit to Cornwall (we live 6 1/2 hours away). We’ve never been before, but were looking for something to do with our 3 1/2 year old whilst the seasoned walkers of our group hiked for the day, and we weren’t disappointed! I’ve actually never seen my toddler so happy on a day trip out as she was at your park, she could go on almost everything (the only thing she was a little short on was the 5d cinema, so we did 3D), she loved the small Dino rides and houses and all the slides. The staff were absolutely amazing, interacting with her and us and proving attentive and approachable, adding to the enjoyment of the day.

We’d definitely come back! Thanks for a day out that we’ve been talking about all week!!

User

Absolutely loved coming here on our hols, I have a four year old who could go on all the rides and loved them, went on some repeatedly coz quiet day before the school hols. The indoor play area is fantastic altho it was hot with the weather been scorching but came week before aswell and was fab. Great seeing staff cleaning all the park and taking drinks to the staff having to stand in the heat. All staff are very welcoming and friendly, we love Emma who made everything so much fun and was fab when my son was nervous on a ride. Plenty of parasols and shade for my four month old daughter aswell. Would highly recommend to anyone with younger children and can't wait to come back on hols again. Wish we had something like this near us. Thank you to everyone for such a fantastic couple of days xx

User

Visited the park today with another adult and two kids - everyone had an absolute ball! There's loads of rides for all ages, the staff are friendly and look after the kids well and whilst it was busy, everyone was working hard to give people a great day. Yes a couple of the rides were closed off and there is development happening on site but it didn't interfere with our experience and we passed six hours happily having fun as a family

User

I feel very disheartened with camel creek not only was it shut for 3 months for which we got a free drink and 28 days membership added. Half the park is closed. The water rides and Viking ship which have been firm favorites in my family. I feel robbed and disappointed that this is now no good for older kids only really ok for the younger ones. Members for the last 10 years I won’t be renewing. Was hopeful that the theme park would become bigger not smaller. Holiday makers is what you want then I’m afraid more and more locals will not be renewing. Poor very poor and very disappointing.

User

Came today for the first time was very empty. Was OK suppose, the log flume wasn't open. Few of the food shacks wasn't open. I definitely don't think adults should be charged as there isn't much there and what is, it's more for small children. There was one ride that a adult may go on without kids. Also you have to pay extra for the cars when your paying to get in. Maybe not charge as much for adults. Won't be returning for free day.

User

We have been going to “crealy” for years and have absolutely loved it, we were extremely disappointed when the park had been basically ruined and I said I wouldn’t renew my pass. I took the kids yesterday as our pass is still valid and were delighted to find the water rides and boat back open and the kids enjoyed themselves like they used to. But unfortunately I was disappointed to hear they will only be open for the summer to basically get money from the holiday makers etc so I won’t be renewing my pass as I feel the company no longer supports locals and once summer is over the “fun” parts will be gone again. Such a shame as this has always been a great place for locals to enjoy. Will miss going there once our passes run out, but can’t justify the money for what will be left once summer is over.

User

Very very disappointed, turned up paid 14.95 each for 6 of us, and there was no mention at all that they have closed the bigger rides, water rides, pirate ship, if they had I don’t think we would of paid that much to get in and would turned around and found somewhere else to go. The older kids were very disappointed and got bored, lots to do for younger children, so they were entertained. Wouldn’t recommend this park if you have older kids, ok for little ones, but it is well over priced for what it is now. Have been going to his park for many years, but don’t think we will be returning again.

User

Me and my family (3 adults and 6 children ) visited the park yesterday and was very disappointed I also wish I had seen these reviews before we paid are hard earned money to visit here

We have been coming for many many years even when it was the shirehorse centre my kids have always been excited to be going but after yesterday I'm afraid not

We left the park early why

1

many of the rides the kids loved where gone

2

Ice cream huts Kelly's where all closed

3

There was hardly anyone inside so no atmosphere at all staff did not look happy

This has always been are local family park but sadly no more what a waste of money such a shame as my older kids loved it my grandchildren loved it but now sorry it's a bye from us we won't be back

User

Although me and my daughter enjoyed our day (me mostly seeing my little one happy) I thought the state of the park for the amount of money we paid wasn't great at all, we were very disappointed in fact. I used to come here when I was 7 and I'm now 31...you still have some of the same slides !! It appears that you only cater for the younger child and so families with older children are going to be very very bored. We are locals and I agree with other reviews on here, we are important to your business, we keep it going when the tourists have gone home. Maybe just maybe you should think about that. Anyway I can honestly say I had more of an adventure on the way home with my mums driving than at your "Adventure Park" I sadly won't be recommending to my family or friends

User

We have been going to Crealys/Camel Creek every year for the last 10 years + whit week hols and august hols and have always had a fab full day out with the kids . Went yesterday 29-05-2018 with a family of 3 adults and 6 children and was truly disappointed as half of the park was closed off , no water rides were working on such a beautiful sunny day , most of the food places were shut too .

Would of been nice if the park offered a discounted price for rides being shut 😡

User

We have been coming here over the years and I am so shocked and disappointed at what you have done to the park.

We have been here an hour and have gone around the entire park.

I feel absolutely cheated out of £60.

Gone are the good rides where big kids of all ages can have fun and instead is a park for tiny tots.

Rides are closed the place is in a state and I am aware of how quiet the place is for a Saturday of the half term week.

I will not be coming again and I will give the primary times an update to warn other parents about not coming here and wasting their money. I feel sorry for the holiday makers who won’t have been forewarned.

User

We are not local to Wadebridge but live in Saltash. We have three children under the age of ten and they have loved Creally/Camel Creek over the years. We decided to make our first trip of the year. When we paid we were offered a map which we didn’t take (as we are very familiar with the layout - or so we thought!)

The first thing we noticed was how unusually quiet it was for the Easter holidays. We put this down to poor weather and a lack of visitors. This proved not to be the case. We soon discovered why the park was quiet....

The children were very upset to find out that both water rides and the pirate ship were closed. These rides were fenced off. What really upset us was the complete disregard for paying customers. It was as if we didn’t need to be made aware of the changes.

On top of this the park felt run down and virtually every food outlet or refreshment area was closed.

Camel Creek may be undergoing extensive refurbishment for the high-spending emmets, but this has been a complete PR disaster and the park felt like a business on its last legs. We won’t be returning again. It was an expensive day for what we actually got out of it.

I really feel for those people who have been sold annual memberships. #cheated #undervalued

Shame on you Camel Creek!

User

Was a great place last year. But since the 3 big rides and swampy cafe closed waste of time. I bought 6 season passes but wished i didnt as at time i bought them didnt know half the park was closed. Now its only a place to take kids for 2-3 hours after that they get bored. What a waste of diesel for the 50 mile round trip. Glad i have my flambards passes to keep kids happy they were cheaper and there is so much more to do. £210 completely waste wont be doing it again

User

Very disappointed today! Three of the big rides are closed and we were charged full price at 2pm even though rides close at 4.30. I was told that this reflected the fact that we could come back for free within 6 days.. So basically it's tomorrow or nothing as our local children are still at school!!! I messaged but got a standard response with no acknowledgement to my loyalty over the years and the fact that we will now not be renewing our memberships! I have always recommended this attraction but will not be doing so from now onwards.

User

Really don’t like being negative and try to see the positive whenever possible but really struggled with this one. We visited Camel Creek last week, and can only say we are really sad they’ve completely ruined what was once the best theme park in Cornwall turning it into a small mediocre attraction that definitely isn’t worth the admission price - normally we’d spend the day there, making the most of all the rides and beautiful location but on this last visit we were done and dusted within 2 hrs and left with feeling of disappointment. Park is half size it used to be, best rides are gone and so is all the lovely area around lake etc which was ideal for chilling with family picnic style, we are all members and live in West cornwall but won’t be renewing again - will now look to membership of other far better attractions such as Flambards and Bird Paradise which previously Camel Creek out shone by a country mile - gutted we no longer have a ‘go to’attraction we could rely on for a fab family day out.

User

Really disappointed my membership runs out in September and I won’t be renewing! Not only have all the water rides gone, the tractor train and most of the cafes etc gone so have the pony rides! Also there’s only the pre packaged ice creams not the cones any more! My kids used to love camel creek now it’s just all borded up! Even the animals look fed up and bored!! Will keep my money and buy a kidzworld pass instead !!!

User

Nice fence!! my kids faces when they saw it kind of put a dampener on the day to say the least.

My grumble being a grumpy dad is being charged over £6.00 for two bottles of drink and one slushy on a hot day.

Talk to your staff because they are unhappy and it’s very obvious.

The new plans well good luck with that.

Businesses in Cornwall that make it work are open all year round with consistent trade from locals.

We get bad summers remember that so if to upset your local bread and butter trade you have no trade at all??
