Workshop still full of boats! Sorry we have not posted anything for awhile we have been a bit busy to say the least!!! Last week we managed to get Scarlett B launched, a nice under 10m potting & netting vessel. She sit's very nicely!!..

Sadly for the company Friday was Teri's last day. Maternity leave beckons. We thought she had been eating all the pies!! but apparently grandchild no 4 is due shortly! Grandad Steve & Nanny Karen are very excited. Thank you for all your hard work over the past years & keeping us all organised .Everyone here is going to miss you (so will all of our customers as now they have to deal with 3 old technophobic dinosaurs ) God help us all!!!!! Steve has your number on speed dial Teri!

One of our customers sent us a few pictures of Patient Pursuit (9m Blade) after annual lift out and clean up,also a few pictures of recent fishing trips. Note the weather, dont get many like that!!

Another busy day at catapult. Number 4 blade out of the mould easter weekend destined to go north. Two more commercial fishing boats, a passenger ferry & a french dive boat on the go. Also just started a 12m charter vessel in mould shop.

Our customer sent us a few pictures of our recent 12m vessel Katabatic.

12 Metre multi purpose vessel Katabatic fully equipped for survey work, including side pole mount sonar, custom made removable hydraulic A frame, full windfarm nose for transfer, full commercial dive capabilities including umbilical cord holders, dive master station, bottle racks, electric dive lift, 4 point hydraulic anchor positioning and mammal/bird observation platform. Long range capabilites with extra 1.5 tonne of fuel via tranfer pumps and is fitted with a 15kva generator. GREAT BIT OF KIT!!!! Its been a pleasure working with Mark and his team from Northern Rib Hire, good luck for the future from all of the team at Catapult!

We recieved some great pictures of our boats in the scottish islands 12metre Fishing boat Alert and 9metre Blade Hannah M II. Thanks Richard and John for the lovely pictures!

We would like to wishes all of our customers and friends past, present and future a very happy christmas and best wishes for a prosperous new year! We thought we would share a few pictures from our christmas do at The Hangar!

Sail a way version of our Blade left us for the Outer Hebrides last week. Doesn't she look great! Good luck to john with his new toy. Keep in touch. Will be looking forward to seeing some picutres of your fishing trips!

Set of 14 metre mouldings getting ready to be transported to Poland by road to be fitted out and supervised by the Polish navy. We are not towing it by sea all the way to Poland as the pictures might suggest!

12 metre Catapult moulding, built to Seafish, has left the workshop for its journey to Northern Ireland to be finished and fitted out by G. Smyth Boats.

We received some great pictures of Alert in Shetland from Scott Welding. Shes still looks incredible!

Here we are again, Seawork is upon us. Where did that year go! Unfortunately we are not able to make it to Seawork this year as all our boats are busy working! But if you fancy seeing any boats in build including our new addition to the models, Our blade 9m catamaran, A few 12m models along with a 14m. We also have a 10m vessel afloat which is currently near its end of completion as a full fitout fishing vessel. You are more than welcome to pop buy for a cup of tea and a look around. The kettles on!!

Exciting News!!!!!
We have managed to aqcuire First Marine Propulsion - propeller and sterngear manufacturer. The existing partner Frank Adams is in partnership with dad now, as a seperate business concern. We have moved the whole manufacturing process of First Marine Propulsion into our existing building at Catapult.
This keeps all of the manufacturing in house and we are now able to produce our own stern gear for new builds aswell as supporting existing customers requiremen...ts for shafts, propellers etc....
We will also be selling propellers, sterngear and general engineering to any of you boat building companies out there, skippers or individuals at a very competitive price!
