I've been making things for as long as I can remember. The first things I made were extinct and mythical creatures for a plastercine zoo in my toybox. When I got to primary school I started making macrame plant pot holders, nothing simple though. Mine had to fill the corner of a room from floor to ceiling, and we had high ceilings, in plants. By the time I got to secondary school I had discovered METAL. I made my mother a set of enamelled garden tools for her birthday. After that I really haven't stopped learning new methods and, more recently teaching new students.
